A few things still bugging me

The fan who can only attend a couple of games a season is exactly the fan the club should be prioritising
I disagree, I think you should prioritise your loyal customers and I’m not a ST holder as I live in London.

Season ticket holders have a priority already thats cheaper tickets and a guaranteed seat at every home game they want to attend

The issue for the club now is to try and increase our support and £30 a pop isn't going to do that

Its not right, I've already said the BBC said it was 11.5k and that'll be taken from that and it was just over 11k. They always get it wrong and gave us 50k once.

We've already seen evidence a lower price can attract more people from the deal games we did and that was with almost nothing to play for, 20 quid and we attracted way more than the games you claim aren't affected by covid early season. So that 23 quid price range has scope to hit the sort of numbers we need to make the same revenue.

300 more season tickets than last season, mainly due to the lower young adult price point doesn't represent a big chunk to me
It must be more than 300..

And I said it was a big chunk of the Walk Up attendances. 👍

The bloke on the scoreboard must have announced it wrong… they’re always getting stuff wrong😉

Whats a big chunk of the walk up attendances?
How many people non corporate bought a ticket for £30 on Saturday?

Probably less than a dozen

You can’t compare games that occurred at completely different points in the season. 😂

And of course Matchday attendances are down as a big chunk of them bough Season Tickets (think about it 🤪
I can and I did, you can't (well you can but I don’t see it as completely fair) compare games with completely different world circumstances, many were still really worried and we saw that across football with attendances down.

The only real issues now are money related.

Yes a few will have bought a ST to avoid paying more, but also the age categories helped too.

The fact is from a higher base, so far, the match day sales are way down and we keep hearing of people saying they won't pay it.

If that's what we're hearing then imagine the real scale of those who think that as we're only hearing a tiny %.

I like to think that I’m a persistent fucker, but I’m bored shitless of this conversation now fellas.

If you don’t mind I’m going to fuck off and leave you to it 👍

Yes, I think your probably best to go ticket price full turkey but don't worry if you are struggling as there will be another identical thread in a fortnight.

Be strong.

I can’t wait

“I was on my way to the Middlesbrough game on Saturday and came across a homeless bloke begging outside the Bus Station… I asked him whether he was planning to go to the game and he just shook his head and looked down at the floor - Obviously like so many other thousands, he couldn’t afford the few pounds extra on the Ticket Price - Where do we go from here -

Discuss “
