Three goals for us is the new normal.Accrington 1 Blackpool 3
Yep, I noticed that too. Doesn't make sense when we are away to a team above us in the league.Interesting we're favourite with most of the bookies which is unusual.

Bookies running scared of the goal machine, much like the rest of the league!Interesting we're favourite with most of the bookies which is unusual.

I've checked their results and you are right again. They beat Fleetwood too. But we have beaten Peterborough, Hull and Portsmouth, the top 3, and Fleetwood. And we should have beaten Lincoln and Doncaster, 4th and 6th. And Charlton, 7th, struggled against our 9 men.they have only beaten one decent team - Peterborough all season.
Accrington play a 3-5-2 system so got be careful not to be out manned in midfield so NC might reflect that so Yates or Madine might make way for Anderson and have Kaikai/Kemp in your 11.Really looking forward to this one and it will be interesting to see who we start with. Rotation maybe not as crucial with the Sunderland game off but I think Kaikai needs a break.
For what it's worth I would go with an attack minded formation today although NC may feel differently.
Maxwell
Gabriel, Ekpiteta, Gretarsson, Garbutt
Hamilton, Ward, Dougall, Anderson
Yates, Madine.
I like that line up but I would like to see Garbutt given licence to attack and I'd maybe stick Husband in behind him, leaving Anderson to come off the bench. If you have Husband in there you can also adapt to a back 3 if Gabriel is attacking.Really looking forward to this one and it will be interesting to see who we start with. That's my thought too. Give Kaikai Christmas off and bring him back refreshed in the new year. I've said before I'd like to see a Hubby/Garby combo on the left. I see no reason to rest CJ yet, he's like the Duracell bunny. The one defensive pairing we've yet to see is Ballard and Viking but there's no reason to split up our two permanent CBs when they're playing so well together and do wonder if Ballard's going to remain as backup for the remainder if his time with us. I'd keep Dougall for this one last time before giving him a well earned rest and bring in MJ next week.I like that line up but I would like to see Garbutt given licence to attack and I'd maybe stick Husband in behind him, leaving Anderson to come off the bench. We have beat the current top 3 in the last few weeks, not surprising really, we will of gone in a few accasSeems to have been an overnight plunge on us to win. Was 11/8 last night now even money with Bet365. Do they know something we don’t?
Accrington flood the midfield so no surprise to see a 433/451That's my thought too. Give Kaikai Christmas off and bring him back refreshed in the new year. Oh and 4 4 2 please Mr Critchley. I know you set out a team for the opposition but I do think Jerry and Gary Goals give us the more potent force in the box...
Now that would be a dream result - suspect we may be in for half a * / (*delete as necessary) though, let's hope not .....Accrington 0 Pool 1
Madine 54 minutes
Yeah, memories of that night with the Jay Spearing penalty and then their keeper getting booted off after “flare-o-gate”A good day for playing and watching football. Wish we were all there today.
