We're so well organised almost a makeshift eleven with so many injuries but despite playing out of position everyone knows their role. Get a few of the wounded back and don't rule out automatic yet.
Give it up Kurt, it’s just embarrassingWhere though? Is he better than Ballard or Ekpiteta? No. Is he better than Gabriel? No.
He wasn't happy was he Mick Garvey. I just put it down to him being banned from Benidorm at the momentBet Ferguson stillwhinging at the ref
Great all round performance, not surprising we end up with injuries, these boys run and run and run. Mitchell a revelation up front, Kaikai up front will will help defence out. Jerry what can you say, like he Duracell bunny. And version 39 of the CBs worked
Bizarre league - they could now be 9 points ahead of us!Nice to see Oxford have lost again.
I know what you are saying but it could have caused us to lose the shape.Gretarson was there and is apparently fit, Antwi could have done 10 mins surely. Given a couple of the lads a rest given Sat Tues games and a depleted squad.
Anyway, didn't matter but, just really don't want anymore injuries now.
Didn't have a bet FFS !If we go about it as we did on Saturday, I can't see anything but a win. This new formation really suits us and will stop them from playing. I think that they will be happier with a point than us. 2-1 to the mighty. No fuck it, I'm all in, 3-1 !
He's crap, you really need to read 62's scouting reports on himPeterborough payed £1m for Clarke Harris, how much is Yates worth, looked head and shoulders above him tonight.
Give up what? What have I said that's embarrassing?Give it up Kurt, it’s just embarrassing
Nah Yates is overratedPeterborough payed £1m for Clarke Harris, how much is Yates worth, looked head and shoulders above him tonight.
That's absolutely fine, but when you're struggling to score. I didn't understand Neil's persistence with playing such defence full backs in Husband and Turton and it's always been my issue.Gabriel is a more gifted footballer, no doubt. Technically better, too. But Turton does give you that rigidity that Gabriel doesn't, and while not a world beater is useful for us when we want to play it safe and defend flat. He's part of the reason we've conceded so few goals recently.
Trouble has been balancing that with attacking football but we're getting that right, finally. IMO good to have both options with Turton/Gabriel.
Fully agree Gaz, NC will know that bringing back players could upset the balance of the team but bring them in when absolutely 100% fit and when necessary.Because Critch can't tinker look what happens when we have a settled team. The so called "better players" should not automatically be brought back into the team until the players who are playing now have a drop in performance. If it ain't broke...
Because some people are totally incapable of backing down from anything. Why is there debate over players in the match day thread after we've just beaten 2nd in the League and gone into 6th?
REJOICE FELLOW SEASIDERS! WE CAN GET BACK TO ARGUING TOMORROW!
We were a bit on the back foot there near the end, usually happens when holding onto a lead, hard to cut out as naturally you hold onto what you have and they throw everything at you.I know what you are saying but it could have caused us to lose the shape.
I leave that to youStop embarrassing yourself
Agree to both, but he is definitely worth a squad place and never let's us downThe problem is, we have a better right back and a better centre back.
I won’t be able to argue with anybody for a few days, I’ve got a grin like a Cheshire Cat.Why is there debate over players in the match day thread after we've just beaten 2nd in the League and gone into 6th?

He looked too heavy!Peterborough payed £1m for Clarke Harris, how much is Yates worth, looked head and shoulders above him tonight.
Got to be our best signing in years, whatever we paid for him was a rip off!Really think this is a huge understatement for the impact and quality he has for the team. Great to see him up there but his impact isn't just goals... I'm sure though you appreciate that just as i do.
Playing like this, with the players we have to come back. We are.Apparently Gareth Ainsworth on Sky said we are the best team in League 1, not bad for an ex Nobber.
That's my view. It's all about opinions but we know the strengths and weaknesses in this squad by now. The blend is working. Down to Critch and Co's hard work and Simon Sadler's preparedness to invest in a deep enough squad to carry us through. Why is there debate over players in the match day thread after we've just beaten 2nd in the League and gone into 6th?

Find me a team in this division that could cope and thrive missing that much quality for weeks on end.As said earlier in the chat, all this without Madine, CJ, Anderson, Ballard, Marv, Husband, Stewart and Viking.

I think its more testament to how well we're doing that we're pulling off these results with who we have available, we've been playing full backs at centre half for weeks now and have just secured 6th place with the 2nd best defence in the league. It's bloody unbelievable! That's my view. It's all about opinions but we know the strengths and weaknesses in this squad by now. The blend is working. Mackem pal of mine just messaged to say he hopes we don’t meet in the play offs, wouldn’t fancy their chances.Sunderland fans all celebrating cos we've beaten Peterborough..
Ha'way lads, we're coming for you next!
I imagine everyone must be looking at us with fear now. We're hard to beat, very hard to score against and we've just figured out how to score goals ourselves - I wouldn't want to meet us anyway!Mackem pal of mine just messaged to say he hopes we don’t meet in the play offs, wouldn’t fancy their chances.
And he might be a nobber again according to the pressApparently Gareth Ainsworth on Sky said we are the best team in League 1, not bad for an ex Nobber.
