I think we looked a bit physically and mentally tired last match, Mitchel to come in for me and a cautious 2-1 win for the mighty!!!

I don't think two draws from the Sunderland games would be too bad, but need to make sure we see off Rochdale on Tue

I know it is a massively important game but I would put Jerry in the Embleton role and give Brad Holmes his debut alongside Simms. We need to pepper their defence as that is their weakness.

does anybody know how long it takes the club to upload the match to the website after full time? Will the game be available to view if I get home after full time is what im asking. Thanks

From the limited amount I know about Sunderland their style should suit us (certainly more than accys did) , I'll go for a 2-1 win , yates 89' . Nice to have a big game to look forward to, UTMP.

Has the feeling of the Forest league match in April 2010 on our march to the playoffs and playing the same team again...

Well after last nights Posh result Sunderland simply need all the points if they still have aspirations about an auto slot.

Could be quite a few goals this afternoon methinks.

Blackpool just have to concentrate on their own game, and how that can create problems for the opposition. That said, it will be interesting to guage Sunderland's response to last night's Peterborough result. They must realise now that automatic promotion is unlikely, so do they start preparing for the play-offs or continue to go gung ho for the automatics? If the latter they could burn themselves out, but if the former there's always the "what-ifs" bearing in mind that they still have a mathematical chance.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, Ronnie O'Sullivan is on TV. Today is a good day.

3-0 to the Pool with goals from Yates, Simms, and Holmes, who will say after the game "Elementary my dear Critchley." 😄 🍊

Looking forward to the game, could be a good game with plenty of goals. Vital we keep the chasing pack at arms length.

Does anybody on here think pool can still get second, or is it now get into the playoffs
two games in hand on Peterborough, pool win both then that’s 5 points off them

No, think they would have to lose pretty much every game left for that to happen and it’s just not going to happen.
Same for Hull both home I dry I think just a matter of who goes up as champions.

I’ve been very optimistic from the start of the season, even when we were bottom.
I’ll have to admit now that I think top 2 is too far gone now.

Let’s secure a playoff berth and then cotton wool our key players

Pool make two changes from Tuesday night.
IN: Ollie Turton and Demetri Mitchell
OUT: Jordan Gabriel and Elliot Embleton
TEAM: Maxwell, Turton, Ballard, Gretarsson, Garbutt, Dougall, Ward, Mitchell, Kaikai, Simms, Yates

No surprises for me.
Thorniley comes back on the bench
UTMP

4 defenders on bench at home
Is it a must not lose again

Most things point to a defeat today - the unbeaten record and out home form in general. Think we'll split the points with us winning at theirs .

So only an untried Holmes with attacking potential on the bench.
Gabriel and Robson to do a square pegs role if needed.

Something is telling me it won’t be twice we could be playing these
