When we win, its all down to the players. When we lose its Critch's fault.I notice not much is being said about Critchley, really glad we got that result for him today

They've sold Corey Blackett Taylor today, so that's one less to worry about.I hope we absolutely batter them and it's final nail in his coffin... unless he doesn't last till then
I’m not saying for one minute he gave us everything but I think he was much more favourable to us.I was 100 yards away and could see it was outside the area.
He had a spell in the second half where they got free kicks for the slightest contact while Dembele and Joseph were taken out at the thigh and he played on.
Are you serious ?When we win, its all down to the players. When we lose its Critch's fault.
Goes to show all teams think the ref is against themI’m not saying for one minute he gave us everything but I think he was much more favourable to us.
As I’ve said previously a quick look at the Gas fans message board tells you all you need to know and they All think he was biased towards us.
But hey I’m not complaining it’s about time we got some refs on our side for once.
According to the haters. Are you serious ?
I know.You're clearly wrong.
Wot a thick ** u are muppet if u had any idea about football u would know about fans standing along the side prickWas on about the corner that the commentators said hit the bar.
Yeah i know, but they haven't got a clue how the game worksAccording to the haters.
Possibly another 8 games like Posh.9 points out of 9. How many more before it becomes a bit of a run?
Bet his first touch is better than your'sI know.
They're nudes of Critch himself
He has the first touch of an elephant, scared to tackle and blows hot and cold too often
Have they won them all?Possibly another 8 games like Posh.
Mentioned on sky it's 11 games unbeaten now
Won 8 Drawn 3Have they won them all?
18 out of 18 Wiz9 points out of 9. How many more before it becomes a bit of a run?
Ekpiteta headed it out.Was on about the corner that the commentators said hit the bar.
I think you need to view CJ differently. He is capable of the most atrocious ball control, non-existent tackling etc but also of utter brilliance like is right footed strike into the top corner! "Expect the unexpected" should be his mantra. His pace is a major weapon in this league and I think there is room for both CJ and Gabriel as the season progresses.that’s fair but would he actually ever be able to dislodge CJ? Critch loves him no matter how many times he gives chances away/falls over/miscontrols. He never even gets subbed off even when he’s having an absolute stinker (8/10 games)
The ref was terrible for both teams. There was a tackle in the on Joseph by their CH, Taylor that was a blatant yellow and he didn't even give a foul. He gives that yellow and Taylor is sent off in the second half for 2 yellows. Same time, it could have easily been given a pen even though its arguably outside the box. These decisions swing in roundabouts. Only thing I think that us and Rovers fans will agree on, is that the ref was shit.If that went against us you and many others would be screaming all day long for a pen.
The ref was most certainly not a Homer today read the Bristol Rovers board and you’ll soon see why.
CJ is one of the few players that we have that can have a moment of brilliance or even just a moment of pure luck and pull us out of the shit. He doesn't do it too often, but it happens.I think you need to view CJ differently. Apart from that it was a stone wallerOf course we would but it wasn't us and I thought their player deliberately made contact and took a tumble and it was outside the box.
this is superbBet his first touch is better than your's
Can't disagree with that and that's why we have got him. That goal was brilliant but then next minute he can't control a simple ball.CJ is one of the few players that we have that can have a moment of brilliance or even just a moment of pure luck and pull us out of the shit. He doesn't do it too often, but it happens.
You will be happy today then, nothing wrong with the tactics you just need the players to play it, happy for Critchley today

I am always happy, but in most walks of life you have to work with what you have. Your role as a manager is to get the best out of your resources. When you don't you do not get a free ride.
You obviously haven't got a clue about football or what is needed to be a professional footballer, this isn't about what you do for a living we all have a job.this is superb
I don't get paid to be a professional footballer
I bet what I do for a living I am better at that he will be ..... but I'll still have my critics
You obviously haven't got a clue about football or what is needed to be a professional footballer, this isn't about what you do for a living we all have a job
Firstly I'm not a sausage, more a prime piece of fillet, CJ is a good player yes he has to improve certain aspects of his game and will he ever do that who knows, I don't like it when people and this isn't aimed at you have a go at the players because everyone of them are good players and people don't know what it takes to get where they are today.Don't be a sausage
You suggested his touch was better than mine, well firstly, I'd said youre right .... he's a pro footballer whereas I'm not
Second off, to quantify it, suggested I'm better at my job than CJ, and you better at yours than he would be too, me included
What I know about football, playing and following, is that for me, he has a lot to improve on. Tackling, control and decision making
I didn't get where I am today by allowing simple passes to run out of play to give a throw in to the opposition.Firstly I'm not a sausage, more a prime piece of fillet, CJ is a good player yes he has to improve certain aspects of his game and will he ever do that who knows, I don't like it when people and this isn't aimed at you have a go at the players because everyone of them are good players and people don't know what it takes to get where they are today.
Where are you today? obviously you have played the game and never made a mistakeI didn't get where I am today by allowing simple passes to run out of play to give a throw in to the opposition.
I was messing. However I didn't miscontrol the ball as often as CJ does! If I only I'd had his pace!Where are you today? obviously you have played the game and never made a mistake
I see the official away attendance was 561.I was 20 minutes behind on my stream so at the time, 200 was right as it hadn't kicked off yet.
Quality Perrin reference.I didn't get where I am today by allowing simple passes to run out of play to give a throw in to the opposition.
Fair enough, its hard on here to gauge people you know, he has got pace in abundance and his touch is good he just has these bouts of lets say lack of concentration, i wish I'd have had his paceI was messing. However I didn't miscontrol the ball as often as CJ does! If I only I'd had his pace!
It's not lack of concentration, it's poor technique.Fair enough, its hard on here to gauge people you know, he has got pace in abundance and his touch is good he just has these bouts of lets say lack of concentration, i wish I'd have had his pace
Disagree completely, he has all the ability but as i said his mind wanders, its also with his positional sense he ball watches at timesIt's not lack of concentration, it's poor technique.
Nah.Disagree completely, he has all the ability but as i said his mind wanders, its also with his positional sense he ball watches at times
Obviously you would know, but we all have opinions and I respect each and everyone'sNah.
Disagree massively, but we all have our own opinions which i respect, i don't think you realise how good the players are, its like say O'Sullivan at snooker until you try and play the game you don't realise how good they are. Only my opinion that's alllack of technique for me. It also shows when he's taking a defender on, it's all about pace and nothing else which to be fair isn't a bad asset. but how many times does he stumble or knock the ball into a defender when trying to beat him? That's not poor concentration, it's poor technique.
So a CJ goal and three magnificent defensive interventions in the first half?I would guess Lyons is injured, we would have wanted him on the bench at the very least?
I would still prefer Gabriel over CJ, but other than that, not bad.
I love CJ but I would prefer him in a 442, it's tough to leave Gabriel out because he is such a great player and a natural wing back, but CJ has taken too it really well. He's hard to drop but it's hard to leave Gabriel out too.So a CJ goal and three magnificent defensive interventions in the first half?
Healthy competition.I love CJ but I would prefer him in a 442, it's tough to leave Gabriel out because he is such a great player and a natural wing back, but CJ has taken too it really well. He's hard to drop but it's hard to leave Gabriel out too.
Lets beg to differ.I'm just disagreeing, that's all.
And yes it's relative. At The level he's playing at, he is technically noticeably deficient.
Good comboNothing from me, home made pizzas and some proper home made, ice cold Bloody Marys
Played in a great pass to Joseph to assist in the assist for the second goal. Understandably he was knackered towards the end of the game and was lucky not to give away a penalty. Left sided CH is the one position where we don't have a specialist replacement.Husband is a great lad, but often just hoofs the ball to nowhere recently.
He's got good experience though and is solid, but needs to find some form again.
