Chris Badlan gone

Must be something more than meets the eye about this. He’s had 1 transfer window, and was spoken up as a major part of our plans.

Potentially a conflict between him and Mansford/Sadler?

If Badlan had leaked team news its gross misconduct no if's or butts.

Calling the Armfield the Arndale isnt but disrespectful all the same.

All speculation of course.

C'mon.

A poster on here on at least one occasion hinted at team news in advance over the last couple of seasons, and was shown to be correct.

Leaks aren't unusual, so a fine and a slap would suffice.

This is not looking good as a bigger picture, not good at all.

Why on Earth would Badlan be responsible for recruiting managers when all his experience has been in scouting of players

Badlan sold McCarthy to the club so let's hope McCarthy is next
 
TBH I never liked the look of this guy from when he appeared on TTV after MM's appointment.

He was a bit rabbit in headlights i thought.

However never met him so can't comment further.

Players leak the team news all the time, that's how I used to get it so early. It's hardly crime of the century. Calling the Armfield club by the wrong name is also clearly just an honest mistake and I'm sure there was no malicious intent behind it.

I'm certain something else must have gone on behind the scenes because if he's been sacked for either of the reasons above then it is incredibly harsh and reeks of desperation to be seen to be doing something.
 
I don't really know what to think about this. Things I do know is that he has been working on the "short list" for a new manager (and there are names on it but no idea who or whether its complete)so what ever he's done has to have happened in the last couple of days so you've got to put 2 and 2 together and assume "team leak" and "Arndale" are contributory factors. Otherwise perhaps a well known fan actually left a horses head 🐴 on his pillow and he's now in hiding? 😂
Not sure who recommended Baddale, sic, and who's sacked him and are they the same person?
To be honest I'd like to think Simon is the one getting pissed off, after all he's a Blackpool fan and the rest of us are so why shouldn't he?

Whether they leak it or not is irrelevant. If you are found out its gross misconduct.

Its misuse of confidential information . Very serious.

Remember whats at stake here. Its not a pub league.

May be more to it who knows but leaking team news alone justifies instant dismissal imo.

The club can impose the fine but line him, Mansford and McCarthy up and I will administer the slap.
 
CB goes out in Lytham and gets merry and starts opening his big mouth about the team news the night before a huge huge derby. That in itself is gross misconduct. All Simon has done here is get rid of a rotten apple and quickly. I applaud him for not taking shit from someone who is clearly a bit of a **. I thought we all wanted the days of our club being treated as a joke to stop. You should all be happy he stepped in and fucked him off.

The ‘Arndale’ thing is a slip of the tongue, but it’s slap dash and probably indicative of a lack of professionalism and overall respect for the club… It’s not a reason to part company surely?

Of course it has also been suggested that Badlan was the person who promoted the MM appointment, which (for many of us) would suggest a serious ‘footballing’ cock up, because the fit for our club is awful.

Leaking the team is completely out of order though, if true.
