Chris Badlan gone

So how can people be sure that it was Badlan leaking the team if the Muckers knew and had the team news shared in their WhatsApp group on Friday like they said on the podcast? I've just had a nosey on penis-online and they are already sharing the Mucker's WhatsApps about the meeting!!!

How the fuck do they know!

Saw he was at Preston on Saturday. Probably spoke up and said what a shit show and it’s down to Mcarthy. Mcarthy then probably spat his dummy out and told the club to pot him. Which they have. This is really getting bad. Christ what have we done to deserve owners like this ? Bloody scums and then this lot which seem to be following suit especially on the football side. The club again is turning into a ** joke.

What did the Coventry duo while at the club because I don't know.
Coventry got all the players they wanted in the January transfer whilst we basically got nothing.

I thought Chris Badlan made a difference in the Jan transfer window — 5 signings (Trybull, Nelson) and 3 new loans (Bowler, Goode, Rogers). All done early in the first 2 weeks of the window whilst Appleton was in post but then nothing in the 2 weeks after McCarthy arrived. Badlan’s predecessor John Stephenson had a total nightmare in the summer transfer window and Appleton didn’t get any of his main targets plus Bowler was sold and Keogh left. The other surprise was that McCarthy didn’t arrive in mid Jan with a few targets of his own, personally I think Mick didn’t expect to get another job and he certainly wasn’t up to speed on the Championship when he arrived.
 
Coventry supporters on the Sky Blues fans page seem to think he didn’t do a fat lot whilst there -Gyokores, O’Hare, Sheaf ….. I’d settle for those.

CB going is yet more proof of what an absolute shambles our club is at the moment. It won’t do much for recruiting a manager.
 
He was responsible for recruitment in the January transfer window, where 50% of the players recruited are now injured, Rogers is a striker that hasn't scored in 10 games now, combining this with the alleged leak of the team, the Arndale club story, etc. But it could be more do with ridding the club of the little club mentality that some of the football management have.
 
As I keep saying, a fish rots from the head down and all this is down to comedy football club owner in out of his depth shock. The blokes just another in a long line of ** idiots who have run our club for the last 50 to 60 years, it's "The Blackpool way" and I'm sick of it. This is as clown shoes as the past ** verminates, they were brazen, this bloke is just clueless.

It's more than leaking the team, that could be anyone. Was he out the night before the game on the lash? To be honest they all need to go, MM, BB, BG and SS, this is our club and we just keep being let down. I fear for the club, the same as I feared for the club 13 years ago and before that. We are a ** shambles and I'm actually embarrassed once again. It is not acceptable.

These lads from Coventry were supposed to be the business, they'e lasted a few months, there has to be more to this than meets the eye and yet again the club keep schtum. We can't recruit managers, staff or players, the most basic of running a football club, Just fuck off!

Well, he and Badlan must have been the only ones, because neither players not fans had a clue how we were supposed to be lining up! obviously, MMC did have an idea but he left it in the rhubarb shed and forget to tell the players.

The lack of engagement between the club & supporters is surely a major point of concern?

I’m increasingly feeling like the majority of us supporters are viewed by the board as an unfortunately necessary evil. A mostly irritating & impertinent horde that must be tolerated at best & at worst given a damn good bollocking when the powers-that-be sense the rabble have had the temerity to question their wisdom.

I’m genuinely sorry to say - this increasingly sucks….

I must admit that when SS bought the club I was expecting a more transparent view on how the club would be run. He's been here for the best part of 3 years and all transfers are for undisclosed fees and today's statement is frankly pathetic, it says nothing ! Somebody suggested on here the other day that at the recent structured dialogue meeting, that Sadler was £25 million in. Really ! On what ?

Bowler and Rogers were already on radar, of the other three two have been mainly injured.

He WAS sacked

And sacked for a number or reasons

He was ** useless, he recommended McCarthy who was also ** useless

And he DID leak the team sheet on Friday to a fan in a pub

I got a copy of the leaked team sheet on Friday from 3 different people

The only plausible reason is the team leak as disclosed by raggy on the podcast

That’s the only credible I’ve seen

As you say we will never know which is not unusual as it’s confidential between Badlan and the club

I’m more interested who the replacement is tbh

Not being a top boy, I didn't get the team on Friday - but as soon as I got to Preston several people told me about what the team would have been had Jud been fit and that the team had been doing the rounds.

That's not normal.

"This is a clown shoes as the past"...No it isnt, its far from that, to even compare is ridiculous. Do you even remember what went on, it's nothing like that.

Mistakes have been made, bad ones and some obvious ones, but you have had your agenda for a while now clearly made your mind up ages ago.

The club operates far more professionally. Again not to say things can't improve or mistakes made, but the guy has the best intentions of the club.

It's not SS fault if the guy leaked the team and had to go.

Everyone praised the appointment of them as shrewd, we all did.

It was 100% leaked the only change was that Gabriel came in as a straight replacement for Thorniley who was unwell

Completely disagree with the slating of SS. This Club was an absolute mess and had been subject to a period of purposeful destructive decline.

He’s transformed the Club root and branch for the better and whilst we’ve had some obvious issues this season. Badlan came with good credentials and was a decent appointment on that basis and this parting won’t have happened lightly.
