Am I right in thinking he came to us and did really well, the team did well and then he left in January and it all went tits up?

Notts County have announced the signing of former Everton and Newcastle United midfielder Dan Gosling on a short-term deal subject to EFL approval, it has been officially confirmed via a post on the club’s official website.

Dan Gosling was released by Watford last summer but has now penned a deal at Meadow Lane until the 6th of January following recent news that star midfielder Matty Palmer will see out the rest of the season on the sidelines due to injury.

He signed for Bournemouth from Newcastle and had several quite successful seasons
 
His stats at Bournmouth showed he was in the top few in the Prem for distance covered in a match. In fact, I think he holds the record for distance covered in one game. Critchley would love that! A veteran now though.

Came on loan recovering from a bad injury so want at his best but you could still see he was class
