Deadline Day Thread

He's scored a grand total of 12 league goals over 4 seasons for Crewe, 3 a season average. Season saved.
He scored 11 last season and 3 assists and won 4 club award at the end of the season including fans player of the season and players player of the season. You are just talking shite! Their supporters don't like him because he wants out and hasn't been in the squad.

That happens all the time...best thing since sliced bread until they leave, then they're just shit. I prefer to wait and judge him with my own eyes, rather than listen to bitter and defeated fans of other clubs.
He's young, gets among the goals and assists, worked with Critch before, seems another good signing to me on an EXCELLENT transfer deadline day 🧡🧡

Getting in young players who are "unproven at Championship level" is music to our ears. Last year we brought in young players who were unproven at League 1 level. This year we got Lavery and Carey in, and plenty in our squad don't have Championship experience.

Clubs who have money wait to see a player doing well at their level and then snatch them up. Instead of money, we've got a top class coach with tons of experience developing young players. Getting the good talent before everyone else realizes that they're good talent will do just fine for me, thanks.

Bang on.

To translate for everyone - this is renowned former player Sergei Zenjov sniffing around for a late return to the Seasiders. Said he hates the Oystons and bleeds Tangerine

Agree with all that and it’s essential that we consolidate in the Championship this season as the team develops and matures, but watch us go over the next couple of seasons as this going to be a very exciting period with this young squad.

I’d have snatched your hand off yesterday morning if I’d have been offered Gabriel and Sterling. The fact we may have Dale is a bonus. Obviously we’re a little short in the middle of the park and could do with competition up top of a different kind but Critchley has said all summer that there will be free agents available come the end of the transfer window so I’m still expecting us to bring some more players in over the next couple of weeks. In fact I’d imagine we (and would be surprised if we didn’t) have a few trialist as training with us between now and the Fulham game on the 11th.

Either way the squads in a good position. Best part of 2 weeks to bed players in, get up to speed tactically and get players fit. We have one of the best coaches in football and it’s on the training ground where he can have the biggest impact.

👍 totally agree with all that.

Free agents may become available, but don't you have to name your squad in the next few days and won't that be fixed until the next window?

Hull fans said Bowler was crap! NC obviously wanted an attacking central midfielder though and failed to get one, so he obviously feels we are short in that area. But a great transfer window all in all.

You can leave spaces available if you want too. Obviously if we don’t leave any spaces we won’t sign anyone.
