Yep and I’ll go more than that.
Fiorini has started 7 games this season. We’ve won 4 of the 7.
Out the other 32 games. We’ve won 4.
So that’s 39 matches, 8 wins. Fiorini has won 4 of those games but only played (started every time) in 7 of those.
Now I’m not saying he’s the next Zidane but statistically we have a better chance of winning when he plays.
To be fair, stats aren’t always the answer, but I also have a pair of eyes and I know we look a much better team when he plays as he has the ability to pick passes and move the ball forwards, to feet, progressively.
The fact our manager doesn’t recognise this and we tipped up yesterday with a midfield 3 of Connolly, Dougall (who were both abysmal v Coventry) and Anderson (who’s not completed more than 45 mins all season) tells you all you need to know about Mick McCarthy.
To quote a well known pundit regarding MM…
You’re a f***ing w***er. I didn’t rate you as a player, I don’t rate you as a manager and I don’t rate you as a person.,”
“You can stick your World Cup up your a**e. I’ve got no respect for you. The only reason I have any dealings with you is that somehow you are the manager of my country! You can stick it up your b*****ks.”
If you take the player and World Cup bit out, then that nails my thoughts on him
