Haaland

With all due respect to our own -if ever a player deserved the nickname ‘Goal Machine’….

Haaland an absolute phenomenon!

Funded by a far from brilliant regime.
What's that got to do with it? Could say you're a hypocrite along with thousands of others of us for going to watch a team owned by a rapist! My post was simply about brilliant football played by brilliant players in a league who as you have proven just like to criticise.

Ederson the weak link for City. Guaranteed to let you down, good with ball at his feet garbage at saving shots

i refer you to my previous post. No doubt it didn't stop you going for many years when our club was owned by a rapist. So a fair bit of double standards methinks.
Think whatever you want.
It doesn't hide the fact that football isn't a true sport anymore. It's a masquerade for rich arabs and the like to try and hide and/or justify the wrongs of their regimes. It's not the game I grew up with and fell in love with as a kid.
The final insult being the world cup held in Qatar.

3 goals and 2 assists. Third consecutive home hatrick. And he's English. If we were going into the World Cup with Haaland and Kane up front and Foden behind them I would feel pretty confident.

You don't seem to be able to grasp that not everyone shares your Premier League love in for some reason?

And I absolutely was a hypocrite for going to watch Blackpool under the Oystons, doesn't change the fact that City are a tool for sports washing though does it?

You don't seem to be able to grasp that not everyone shares your hatred of the Premier League either. It's only in your AVFTT bubble. Think the couple of hundred thousand people who turn up to watch it live every week added to the global millions who watch it around the world every week suggest you really haven't got a grasp on how popular it is! There's none so blind as those who refuse to see, with their blinkered double standard hypocritical views. But hey ho....

Hanging is popular. It doesn't make it right.

It's an opinion, there's no right or wrong, you don't have to argue every point as if your opinion is the only correct one, it's tedious.

I think we all know how popular the Premier League is. It doesn't take you to tell us.
And we've pretty much established that myself, Lytham and probably many others are hypocrites for supporting Blackpool when owned by a rapist.
OK now we've established that.
No matter how popular the Premier League is, it still doesn't make what's happening to football right.
Just like myself and Lytham being hypocrites doesn't make it right either.

it's an opinion that you continue to spout on here. Please don't talk to me about being tedious.

If you like Harlem Globetrotters circus football played for the delectation of credit card companies, oil barons and their ilk, I'm sure it was a terrific spectacle.

Me, I prefer Rumanian communist division 2 games from the 1983 season on old betamax tapes because I am such a churlish soul that I deny myself pleasure to make a pointless stand against modernity.

I literally just posted this for the lols cos 20s innit. I actually listened to the game and enjoyed it really. Haaland is a freak.

He's a fantastic player who is the icing on a pretty good cake.

He is going to be up there with the best, like your Messi's, your Ibrahimovic's, your Bob Hatton'e etc

His pace and movement are beyond belief. Now where haven't I seen that before......

I'm sure the lad will shine in the CL.

When faced with criticism from Lytham about the Premier League you countered with comments about its huge popularity. My point - which is obvious - is that popularity is not proof of something being above criticism.
...And no doubt there's countless other examples you could have quoted so like I said pretty pointless. Seems people love to criticise but when that criticism is responded to with my views, it's my opinion that is tedious and the accusations come flying out.

I haven't watched any EPL games since 2011 and I never watched any before 2010. I also don't watch the Champions League, England friendlies or Mickey Mouse tournaments. I like to watch the FA cup until the last 2 or 3 rounds, I love the play off games and the World & Euro cups and that's about it. My football hit goes as far as BFC really and has done for 30 years. Nothing wrong with that, just my personal choice.

You do like to tell people what they think.
Have I said it's beyond criticism or are you just assuming that's what i think. The irony in you now telling me what I think. It's a great product but it seems that many who don't even watch it would rather abuse it. And you perceive me to be the villain here! At least my view is based on what I see and watch rather than others whose opinions are based on what they don't see and watch.
