I'm hoping the formation is because Critchley thinks this team will cause Ipswich the most problems as opposed to playing it safe. We need to be positive and capitalise on their poor form, hopefully Embleton is going to be an astute signing.

Yes the EFL has it as a 4-4-1-1 formation with Embleton playing directly behind Yates as a sole striker. Odd.

looks like 4 3 2 1 to me with Kai Kai and embleton the 2 behind the striker...ball to feet and plenty of movement...I would have liked Garbutt for Husband ,Ward for Virtue and Simms for Kai Kai in a 4 4 2 but it will be an interesting watch

Don’t understand the selections. Simms will only get better with games and for me, Ward and Mitchell far better options than Virtue on the right.
