All the usual stuff here.
Think Gabriel will want to get revenge on Edwards after he tore him apart in the first game. He will certainly be fired up for it.Expecting a fairly similar starting 11
Turts may come in for Gabriel.
The last 11 months have shown us that anything can happen!!We never win at Portman Road. 2-0 Ipswich. Bogey team.
Last season, why does our kit look RED?
The Portman Road hoodoo might have something to do with losing the will to live before you get there! This group of players are relatively new they won t know about the Portman Road hoodoo they
will just go out and win the match!
I went. Nuttall played well.Went to that one, I remember when Spearing scored a lad from about 3 rows behind us ended up on the floor in our row. Played well but seem to recall us hanging on at the end.
I'll go 1-1 tomorrow (Simms)
And the world is back on its axis.1-1 or 2-1 Ipswich
It sure isAnd the world is back on its axis.
Or maybe Turton in for Virtue, with Gabriel pushed into right mid. Need to stop Edwards causing as much damage as he did at BloomfieldExpecting a fairly similar starting 11
Turts may come in for Gabriel.
He can do a job on the right,Embleton has been in and around Sunderland's first team since the start of December, so he must be fit enough to play some part today, maybe even start.
I don't see what we have to lose by starting him wide left, I'd much prefer for someone to be picked to play there and be given an extended run in the team to see what they can do; if Embleton isn't capable of being in the first team then he shouldn't have been signed.
What I don't want is a rotation between him, Kaikai, Bez and whoever else where none of them are given enough time to bed in and grow in to the role. It does none of them any good and the ultimate goal of finding a capable left winger isn't achieved.
My Sunderland supporting work mate says he can do a job on the left. If he has been signed to play through the middle I have no idea where he will fit now that we have Dougall & Stewart.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Virtue keep his spot in the team today, given that we're away in what could be a tough game.He can do a job on the right,
Left, in the center or behind the front two
I'm joining you on that one, £5 on a 'Pool win!Got a little punt on us this afternoon
