Come on everyone let's just get on their backs every game this will help alot......

People booing also let's do more of that creates a proper positive atmosphere.....

Think people really need to remember how far we've come in recent years, and let's face it we are still right in the mix of it, yeah we see 'bottom' but for those that have a slight understanding of football need to realise that with the points being they are in that league, it can still be anyone down there noones down and out, including us.

I understand we pay money and people frustrations of course I do the record is appalling at the moment,

But get behind your team for God's sake,

Rant over

I think the fans have been incredibly patient with the whole situation.

The fans were with them in whole the macth, for a relegation threatened side struggling and playing dire football really, the atmosphere was OK at times, lots even it was going.

It's only a few boos when the game finished. OK not what you want but to be expected.

People need to get over it, we are bottom, some will vent at that.

The performance was that bad, the boos could have been a lot worse.
It's not a lack of effort though is it? It's a team whose confidence is shot, who are playing a style that doesn't suit them, trying to compete physically against a team who are bigger. There's no need to boo the players for the incoherence of the overall set up as individually, they by and large appear to be trying, even if the whole is not working.

They were ** ace today again…

See, I'm hoping this:

We classically struggle against shit teams. Remember the league 1 promotion. We were rank bad against crap sides and good against good teams in general.

We're at an awful low ebb in confidence.

Big Mick gets them in.

He says 'right lads, you've played the two most horrible teams you could possibly play. You've stood your ground. You've been kicked and booted about and you've kicked and booted them about. Now go and play a bit more but keep that snarl and that fight. Treat Swansea like them but take the little more time and space you'll get to play and they'll hate it. You've shown me everything I could ask for in them last two games. Enjoy playing a little bit more. Anyone tries chipping the keeper though, I'll ** nut 'em. Clear? Pov. You're starting. Let me down, I'll ** run you back to Leeds myself. Be brilliant. And Maxi. Bit quicker out chief. Alright. Come on. (clapping noises)'

Since the first time I ever went, we underperform against crap teams. The other thing I think we're missing is - although it was dreadful in a lot of ways, there was a pattern of play and one they all seemed to buy. That's something. A plan they all buy into is a plan. People getting all fussy about 'it's not the right plan' - any plan will do as long as a team buys into it. As that pattern of play wasn't disimilar to Rovrum or Hudds' own style it didn't unsettle them. It may well unsettle sides set up to play a different, more technical way and thus struggle to combat it.

We are so not down yet.

When have we ever made life easy?

All this is, is one more step on the mental BFC ride of nonsense 👍

Why is it a positive - i'd rather win 2-1, 3-2, or 6-4 than get a clean sheet and 1 point. Clean sheets are for managers egos, 3pts are for winners.
Pretty much all winners start with a basis of a strong defence. I think that's probably evident in the entire history of football that generally, there's a correlation between winning things and not conceding a lot of goals.

I'm not saying I think Mick's getting it all right. He's obviously not but if his intent is to stiffen the team's resolve and instil some stuff, he's on his way. I just think the lad deserves more than 4 games before we decide he never will get it right. One of the key issues with Appleton's approach was that the players were terrified of losing the ball as they absolutely didn't believe in their own capacity to win it back or keep the other team out. That was self defeating as it meant the theoretically attacking set up ended up playing square and backwards for fear of ceding possession and thus being under pressure.

Exactly. People saying 'we have to win these games' are deluding themselves that we won't find the weirdest, most stressful way possible to stay up. It would be so easy if we just won the games against the teams who aren't very good. As if we'd ever do that.

If you can't recognise the effort that's being put in by the players to get out of the position we're in, then I don't know what to tell you. The booing at the end of the game was cringeworthy.

These players aren't the best, clearly - but they put everything into today and on Tuesday. I don't think i'd ever boo or give abuse to our own players, however I think I'd only be truly disappointed in the team if I felt they weren't putting the effort in. Every single one of the players on the pitch today and Tuesday put their heart and soul in to it. I can't think of any one of them that should've come away from that thinking they could've put more effort in. They're lacking confidence, and we're in serious trouble that I'm not confident we can get out of at this point. But the attitude of the players is first class imo.

When people boo, it’s just normally just a massive sign of frustration and disappointment. The players are giving everything but is nearly 4 months since we won a league game and we all know that we need 7 wins to stay up (ish) and we’ve just blown 2 huge opportunities to wins. I’d never boo maximum effort. It’s a desperate situation though.

BFC 53 spot on, We have no right to think that teams around us will be beaten or are not scraping to survive as much as us. As we know Football can throw up some odd results and if the players keep giving the effort like the last two games , the results will come. Keep the faith and get behind the team like we have been doing !

Don't sit there quietly, I sit there and clap and chant and get behind the team, if the inevitable will happen it will happen whilst I try everything I can do to get behind them
Wander how many of the “booers” would have been at pool vs Halifax on a Tuesday night , pissing down with rain , bottom of the old division 4 ……….🤷🏻

If you go into a restaurant and the food is shit, you tell them. Do you see the resemblance ?

Don't you realise that's because he's not being played in his best position and he's had to do more defending than going forward! When did he last have a chance created for him? Strikers are only as good as the service they get.
Mmm I don’t think he has had good service but he needs to start delivering goals and no more excuses.

he's not had any service. He's had to do that much tracking back. Name me any chances he's missed over the last three months? We all ove the workrate he's putting in but that's to the detriment of getting in box. He's got plenty of excuses and they are all perfectly valid.

He missed a chance be Boro didn’t he?

CJ crossed the ball and Yates’ glancing header hit the outside of the bar?

Did he not also have another chance too vs Boro where the ball got caught up in his feet and then he kind of toe-poked the ball and it was deflected wide (should have been a corner, but wasn’t given)

yep, he did but my general point remains the same. Both only half chances too. Been given scraps to feed off and his strengths are being sacrificed because of needs elsewhere.

I may give Budda a make over tomorrow, we have not lost since i glued his head back on and put him back where he should be 🙏 .

I think the booing would have been at the referee and linesmen not the players.
The effort from the players was there for all to see on Saturday.
We just need a win to up the lads confidence

Personally I can not understand people booing the Lads at the end. If they were actually booing the team.
Those guys on Saturday gave their all, and worked their socks off.
Can't fault them for effort.

👍exactly, a lot of our fans haven’t experienced such times so we have to forgive them, great days because we didn’t expect much but when we got a result it was massive, I loved it back then and now a lot seem to think we should be in the top two divisions and if we aren’t it’s a disaster , we aren’t going down anyway

Exactly who would you replace him with from our current squad.? Jerry Yates is the least of our problems.
I wouldn’t replace him with anyone as our squad is lacking in the striker’s department. We should have signed a proper goal scorer when the Bishop deal fell through.

I admire Jerry for his workrate and commitment but he is not a natural goal scorer. He needs someone alongside him desperately.

I think he is a natural goalscorer and has proven that. But you are right, he does need some-one alongside him to help him do that.
