If Liam Bridcutt is the answer....what was the question?!?!?
No but they sold our best player and signed mostly young, cheap loanees. The board haven't picked the line up today, persisting with something that clearly wasn't working after mid week.
We look rudderless. And we're getting worse.
Maybe we have to accept that the financial limitations mean we are a yoyo club bouncing between league 1 and Championship. Why give a manager a 4 year contract too? Madness. I'm not convinced this football club ownership is something that SS is enjoying that much and probably wouldn't do it again if he could go back in time. An owner these days needs to be absolutely filthy rich with money to spend, I hate that but it is the way of the world.
Yep, 1st thing a good player is taught is keep the ball down. That shot! ….. no basic technique
The better players didn’t want to join us before a ball was kicked.Problem is if we are struggling in Jan, the better players will not want to join us for a relegation battle, so we are probably stuck with the squad we have to get us out of the sh*t
We're a poor side, with a poor manager
It spilt someone’s coffee in row zWhat the fuck was that Carey
They will have to use the Bowler money to pay off AppletonIt’s not just the manager on a 4 year it’s the assistant as well, who has no ** clue either
Maybe sort out formation and learn to put at least one player up when defending corners for an outlet that doesn’t cost anything it’s all down to tactics 2nd goal came due to nobody outside the box to stop ball coming straight back at usMaybe we have to accept that the financial limitations mean we are a yoyo club bouncing between league 1 and Championship.
So were Hudderfield and we only won due to a once in a blue moon technology failure. So were Stoke, so were Swansea...Make no mistake Millwall are shite and so are Rotherham, it’s looking grim
Nothing, with a 4 year contract Sadler can’t afford to sack him.Three poor performances on the bounce, we look like a league 1 side and I think we may well be come May.
Terrible transfer windows and the players don't look like they believe in the tactics they are being asked to play. A horrible next few fixtures, we could be looking for a new manager by the end of October. What are you going to do about it Mr Sadler?
The whole transfer process has been a shambles, Appleton may be sure Mansford and Bridcutt can come to an agreement, but I'm not. Were the fcuk are the goals going to come from. We've sold our best and most creative player, lost our manager to a Premier League Team, there must have been some money swimming around in the pot,to actually sign players. If Liam Bridcutt is the answer....what was the question?!?!?
Bowler money?Nothing, with a 4 year contract Sadler can’t afford to sack him.
Critchley did exactly the same and Appleton has just carried it on.Maybe sort out formation and learn to put at least one player up when defending corners for an outlet that doesn’t cost anything it’s all down to tactics 2nd goal came due to nobody outside the box to stop ball coming straight back at us
Don't agree but I've said it in other posts and I understand your frustration. The simple fact is we have too many players who clearly aren’t good enough to be consistent in the Championship, a manager worth no pedigree at this level, and we have lost our only source of creativity in Bowler.
We will be sitting comfortably in the bottom 3 by mid October and I doubt very much we will see any change in that come May . Mr Sadler does not have the money to fund a championship team, this has been pretty obvious over the last few transfer windows, wouldn't surprise me to see any one or more of our better players (Jerry and Marv) going in the January window - asset striping preparing for league 1 and much lower budgetThree poor performances on the bounce, we look like a league 1 side and I think we may well be come May.

Critchley made our defence play well. Boring but well.Critchley did exactly the same and Appleton has just carried it on.
Agree, he's been unlucky with injuries but he could be playing his hand better. Got some time now to get his ideas across to the players. He talked a good game pre season he needs to get some 90 minute performances out of them very soon!!Maybe sort out formation and learn to put at least one player up when defending corners for an outlet that doesn’t cost anything it’s all down to tactics 2nd goal came due to nobody outside the box to stop ball coming straight back at us
We do indeed. We need an out of work …dominant, experienced ctr half and a striker in now ffs !!!
Don't accept that. We had enough to do something across 180 mins. There's no excuse for the players performance on Wednesday and that formation today.Maybe we have to accept that the financial limitations mean we are a yoyo club bouncing between league 1 and Championship.
Critchley had the players organised and well drilled. They weren't asked to do what they aren't good at. Appleton just doesn't seem to be getting anything from the squad, it may just be me, but that does not look like a team playing for their manager. That 4 year deal was madness, whoever came up with that needs to look hard at themselves in the mirror.Critchley made our defence play well. Boring but well.
And a centre mid like Barlaser. Otherwise known as the spine of your team!!!We need an out of work …dominant, experienced ctr half and a striker in now ffs !!!
