What do you mean - serious Q.Well done Emma first ever semi finalist qualifier.
Serious answer. What do you mean - serious Q.
US Open used to be on Eurosport if memory serves (excuse the pun) me right, not sure when this ended
Watched Emma’s game today on Eurosport 1 - Dutch commentary. It's been on Sky before too. Bit naff having to stream tennis. Probably a good minute behind the live match too.
"Qualifier" means she had to win her way into the main tourney via a qualification tourney, rather than being invited straight in.What do you mean - serious Q.
I don't think it's naff, all TVs have Amazon and Netflix now, it's shit tons cheaper than Sky with no adverts (and free anyway with a prime account) and the coverage is superb. It's been on Sky before too. Bit naff having to stream tennis. Probably a good minute behind the live match too.
He's looking better than most blokes pushing 50.What a lovely young lady
Didn't recognise Tim Henman straight away
No not been watching, hence the question.Serious answer.
First qualifier ever to make it to the US open semi finals.
If you were watching it you would have heard the commentators mentioning it several times.
Yep just took me a minute or 2 as probably not seen him for 20 years or moreHe's looking better than most blokes pushing 50.
I almost hope she doesn't, might be a bit much too quickly? And now the British No.1 tennis player! Hope she can do it, it would be an incredible story, world no. 368 just a couple of months ago!
Prime accounts aren’t free so...I don't think it's naff, all TVs have Amazon and Netflix now, it's shit tons cheaper than Sky with no adverts (and free anyway with a prime account) and the coverage is superb.
Yeah I know what you mean but she seems pretty grounded. Almost as big a concern is the fact she’s clearly very “marketable”, so hopefully doesn’t get distracted by that inevitable attention. Again, she seems to have her head screwed on and good people helping her hopefully.I almost hope she doesn't, might be a bit much too quickly?
But lots of people have them anyway is the point.Prime accounts aren’t free so...
They are whilst you’re on the 30 days free trial introductory.Prime accounts aren’t free so...
She will be ok, if she doesn't get distracted by 2 things. Firstly, they don't overplay her in too many tournaments, representing GB in cup tournaments, Olympics, etc. She needs to pick and choose whilst developing her game further and will need some rest between big tournaments. Secondly, she doesn't get distracted by too much off screen commercial activity, because she bound to get lots of offers with her looks and personality. Again, she needs to do things in a measured way and focus on her tennis at this stage of her career.I almost hope she doesn't, might be a bit much too quickly?
What an achievement, British No.1 tennis playerAnd now the British No.1 tennis player! Hope she can do it, it would be an incredible story, world no. 368 just a couple of months ago!
So I'm reading through this thread and its just full of positivity, and then I read your post. You really are a troubled person.
Still on that roll. Enjoy!Yes she’s on a roll! Well done Emma !
Belinda Bencic was actually ranked higher than Sakkari! I thought Sakkari had the potential to be more of a threat than Bencic!Just watched the semi. Wow -she gets better. Well deserved win against her highest ranked opponent to date. Dismantled her. First qualiffier in the men's or women's tennis to get to a Grand Slam final. First GB woman time since Virginia Wade in1977 to get to Slam Final. Let's hope she can do it once more against another unseeded teenager. First time 2 unseeded players been in a final
