Pilley guilty

That’s him disqualified under EFL regs on one (probably two) counts:-
- A conviction in respect of any offence involving a dishonest act
- A sentence of at least 12 months’ imprisonment

Edit - He also owns Waterford. What might the consequences be for them?

He had been done for fraud in the past and his business practices were well known but he would slap legal action on anyone who reported it. Chickens have well and truly come home to roost.

Don’t think anyone wants him sent down either but if he’s broken the law then nobody is above the law and if it’s done the crime he must serve his time….. this must have a negative impact on Fleetwood going forward.

They are hardly going to come out with a statement and say we are fucked are they.

Uncertain times ahead for the cods.

Long prison sentence likely plus proceeds of crime application.

This is very bad news for AP.

Hard to take in tbh. Not good for the town of fleetwood .

It's not helped us though as it takes away potential support, however small it may be. We only need one club on the Gold coast, and we all know who that is.

We joke but why not. They’re going straight back to pub leagues so why not put a bid in for the whole lot. A team of painters could transform the colour scheme in a weekend turning the place tangerine. We’ll even add 50k onto the price for that new balloon thing they’ve just installed
