PNE - About to implode.

Losing all faith in their manager.
Have absolutely zero faith in their board.
And their roof is leaking, to the point Deepdale is basically a seive with floodlights, and their facilities manager has confirmed there’s no money in the budget for any repairs and the club can’t dream of meeting the quoted cost for remedying the problem.

Meanwhile their neighbours seem to have found their mojo, have an owner spending millions upon millions on facilities and this time next weekend they could be back beneath the pool, having played a game more 🥳

PNE took a massive gamble by making season tickets dirt cheap and then giving them away to kids. They sold 13000 but all of a sudden those tickets don’t look like they’re worth the relatively low cost. They’ve massively devalued the product and even if they keep the price cheap they’ll sell less next season. If they try return the price of a ticket to reflect what it should be (what It was last season) they’ll sell 4000-5000 if they’re lucky. They really needed performances and ideally results to inspire fans this season and without that they’ve shat the bed.

IF the season goes really tits up and ends in relegation… then it’s nothing short of a financial disaster.

They have woken up to Woodburn too.🤪

Yeah this lad is ** wank, should have listened to Blackpool fans who told us he was utter shit in league 1. Sums up our recruitment however, so no surprise we signed him.

Takes a special player to make me miss Josh Harrop. Absolute powderpuff this lad, he offers nothing off the bench. We might as well have saved paying off Harrop for the same effort
I hope we've already shredded that "(+1)" part of the contract and burned the remains with fire.

Exactly this.

It was done to make it look to prospective buyers they had lots of ST holders…

Like a shit ‘Riga revolution’…

Reminds you of a song from way back?

There's a hole in the ceiling of the Stretford End (could be adapted to the Town End.)

I said at the time that when a club slashes ticket prices, it rings alarm bells to me because it means the board aren't confident that the team itself will be good enough to get the fans through the turnstiles. The Oystons did the same thing.

Now, I'm not saying don't set prices competitively or use promotions etc. There's nothing wrong with that, but when you decide to make them dirt cheap even for the core fanbase it's a worrying sign to me.

I genuinely think in Thompson (he'll come good), Patino, Fiorini, Poveda, Corbeanu, Wright and Bridcutt, we've recruited far better than they have this summer. Signing Woodburn permanently was a god awful signing and we told them so at the time.

Think they sold nearly 12k, with the cheap price and free kids. It's a good number but took a bit to get there, so would we. Its they type of thing that's good for building a fanbase though.

Of course if you lose and are shit you're screwed, but you kind of are either way, if you're shit at high prices no one will bother.

Might get some more at lower prices.

Its not the fault of the ticket policy that makes them shit, they've made similar ish revenue, they are just shit.

Promotion contenders last week apparently.

Eh, weren't they talking about the playoffs about a week ago after beating Norwich?, radio t'rovers practically short circuiting itself at the prospect of a rovers/PNE/Burnley triple promotion?. I know our fans swing to from one result to another but that's ridiculous. Fact is, they've made out pretty well with Lowe and look like they'll stay up again, which is decent for them

Nobber mate of mine has just confirmed that the honeymoon period with Lowe is now well and truly over, and if they get beat by Hudders on Tuesday and by us next Saturday we will be able see it in front of our very eyes! Let’s be in no doubt Appy knows how much this derby match means to us and he will have the team well fired up!
We've been growing more and more recently, started to look a good outfit going toe to toe with top sides and unlucky not to have a lot more points.

I think they are serious contenders to go down. Have very little creativity ; poor manager who just wants to keep it tight and stay in games ; have been pretty lucky with injuries ; and last, but not least, an absolute shit set of supporters.

Stuff them next week and they will be in freefall.

Sounds good to me!

Wouldn't mind acquiring 19 points from only 8 goals scored and the best defensive record so far tbh but they obviously have to keep that going. Its the 0-0 draws that will be frustrating their fans

Much prefer our current shit or bust style and we're only going to get better.

Meanwhile they're the ultimate make weights in this league, completely irrelevant, boring and apparently potless.

Not sure we're fully in control of our own destiny tbh but yep at least things are going on. We've a short attention span because we've got used to Oyston chaos so we always need something.

What it needs is for Gerrard to throw Critchley under a bus and bring his mate Lowe in and then they appoint Neil McDonald

Yeh remember that chant well, to the tune of The Kinks: Dead end Street.
There’s a crack up in the ceiling,
and the Stretford (Town) End is leaking
Matt Busby‘s got no money
He feeds his team on shit & honey.
What are we living for
To see United in Division four!

A Citeh chant we adopted.

I said all along their season tickets receipts would be less than us.

Entertainment also in short supply. No shots on target at home.

Such a shame.

Ball gets kicked up and over the stand and out the stadium.

PNE announcement " unfortunately another ball is out of reach and doesn't fall into line with our budget... "

As soon as they concede everyone’s head drops because they know they can’t score, and long may it continue.

I said it the other day...if your game plan is entirely geared up to not conceding, and then you go and concede, you're fucked, it's hard to step it up out of the blue, especially once you've gone behind and the other teams tails are up
Their fans must be shitting themselves about next week 🤣🤣🧡🧡
