Remaining Tickets

If deadline for ST holders is 5pm today how quickly do we expect to find out what the score is for the remaining tickets?
If there are any
And does anyone know how many we have sold so far?

I guess the remainder won't go straight to open sale, I would expect STHs from last season to be next in line. Then supporters who attended 10 games or more last season.

“Hilariously” I was supposed to get a ticket for my brother and myself online. I was only able to do mine because my brothers linked account wasn’t showing up. Ended up spending an hour or so setting him up email, registering his account, setting up Ticketmaster etc. Still nothing showing.

Called him up he said a friend had told him he could sort it in club shop and he would go down and do it. Turns out he never actually renewed his Season Ticket as they had no record of it!

As it happens I would have been away in Caravan up near Staveley and would have had to stay dry, drive to Blackpool, sit on my own for game and then back up after the game but thought I would be generous and give him my ticket and I’ll sit back with a beer or three and listen on radio or try watching on phone!

Hey ho, he’s not having my Final ticket if we get through though!!!

With that number just do a lottery.

Single or double. Either or, one entry , - named and only those registered to avoid duplicating.

How many st holders do we have is it 4k or was it 3800 ish as I was told?

How many tickets do we have allocated? On the site it specifically doesn't say 4k it says 25%, the official capacity is 17338 according to Google. Which would potentially mean 4,334 might be available.

If 67 ST holders didn't take theirs up then it depends how many we have but with 4k and the 25% capacity we would then have around 400 available.

I know Sunderland get 10k as their stadium holds nearly 50k but the upper limit is 10k so teams are seemingly allowed above the 4k amount.

Not sure why the club couldn't say the actual amount of tickets available?

It was around 4,300 sold I believe when they closed sales on them.

I thought they mentioned 4000 but stopped sales early just after I’d got ours at around 3800 I might be wrong, but I remember thinking we only just squeezed in, all should be revealed tomorrow.

I was under the impression we sold 4,000 season tickets then opened it up again for a few hundred extra. As said above, the statement on the website says 25% of capacity is available, not 4,000.

Does anyone actually know what the capacity is?
as far as I know it’s anywhere between 13k-17k due to safety issues mainly in the east
capacity is 17,200 but what they were allowed in was revised down to 16,800 a few years ago by the HSE because of persistent standing in the away sections. This happened when we were boycotting so none of us really noticed, not sure if it's changed since.

The ‘official’ capacity is a little misleading. I think that’s how many seats we have but our useable capacity is set lower to allow for segregation of fans etc and that is (I’m fairly sure) the figure on which any safety certificates are provided... now obviously there is no need for segregation so potentially we do get to use the ‘official’ capacity... I’ve no idea if that’s actually happened or not though but a bit of clever thinking and a decent relationship with the council and whoever gives out the safety certificates may have helped magic up 100/150 extra seats for fans.

Let's face up to it 100% of tickets available never go to all the hardcore fans it just doesn't happen so you can divide the capacity all you want it means fuck all.

Well we had just under 16k in the comeback match against Southend with plenty of room in the away section so 17k seems to indicate the total capacity and no segregation as there's no away fans allowed gives an extra 2 to 3 hundred.

There aren't any away fans so that might not be an issue for this game.

Ground certificate is for 16,616 - it was revised down from 16,871 due to persistent standing by away fans in the north end of the East Stand. There are a few unknowns such as is the 25 % based on capacity or safety certificate, does it include stewards, does it include players and officials, etc.

Even the government doesn't know that, they probably just plucked a figure.

But to be fair they are following the scien.....tology

There’s still space in the club hotel on the night as well. Just looking at all the options I can’t physically choose from to torture myself 🤷‍♂️

Interesting way of doing it. I wonder if people will be able to buy 2 tickets so they don't have to go by themselves or if it will just be 1 ticket only.

Really ??? Loyalty by purchasing iFollow passes??? I personally think this is ridiculous and that’s speaking from someone who has a ticket. Ridiculous
what other way of doing it could there have been this season without someone complaining - seems sensible and a reward for someone who has paid £10 for every game this season - a good decision from me

Hmm, not sure I agree with that.

I'm assuming EFL rewards games are included. My middle lad has won about 5 times. No idea how.

Plus it penalised multi occupied houses who would have bought had it not been for 1 being a ST holder - i.e. with me, 3 of us watch on my ST account.

Should be a straight lottery.

Rewards supporters for not using the streaming service which everyone quite easily could have for a fraction of the price - never going to please everyone but a fair way of doing it.

Don't see how there can be any criticism of that.

Someone who has watched every game week in, week out on iFollow should get the opportunity rather than a pot luck where someone who is just fancying it because we're in the play-offs might snap one up on general sale.

Its an alright way I suppose of doing it however as Halifax says anyone who would usually buy but is in a family where the st holder bought or maybe just 1 of the house bought, the others will have no history.

Also how many families who may qualify will have just one person attending, let's say a family of 4 usually go but this season just the father has bought a pass each time, how many will go alone or will those who qualify be allowed to buy for anyone else?

Anyway good luck all.....
