San Marino v England match thread.

The only win recorded by San Marino's national football team came in a home match against Liechtenstein in 2004, a 1-0 victory with Andy Selva, the teams only pro player, scoring.Their worst defeat came against Germany in 2006, when they were thrashed 13-0 at their home ground Stadio Olimpico
 
I just hope we play our strongest 11 against such strong opponents, hopefully Kane can score another 4 or 5 to add to his tally as an England legend..😎….🤣

And how many nations play professional rugby ain't that many, you'd have a situation in football where teams wouldn't be able to put an 11 out from their 25 man squads on international weeks.

England making a habit of 5-0 scorelines against the minnows. Another 5-0 here I suspect.
Wont get rich backing that at 11/2 best price.
San Marino +6 at even money has some credit with England mainly playing a second string and wont want to get involved in anything that could lead to injuries.
 
I always feel sorry for England in games like this, they're on a complete no win unless the score gets daft like 8-10+.

Teams like San Marino consider losing 2-0 to the likes of England as a good result, they may lack quality but they work hard and these days they're all well drilled. England have played regular starters against them in the past and struggled to break it down.

Unless the passing is super fast and crisp, then eventually it gets smothered out and frustration builds, but when 21 players are occupying a third of the pitch it's very hard to pass through. Suddenly though Southgate is picking some "runners", such as Foden and Grealish, Saka might get a look in too. It's an alternative to trying to pass through two banks of 4 or 5.

so who do you suggest actually plays in these games whilst the majority of the clubs first team squad are away on International duty? Do other countries teams have free weekends whilst their players are on international duty? Or do you want us to be different? So yep I get your point alright! It's ill thought out and a load of nonsense and is pretty much par for you in your continued attempt to criticise the EPL.

When a soap question comes up on these game shows how many people say they never watch soaps but always seem to get the question right.
