Where's BRR2 ?

He started the social media cut off and now it’s gone viral

well done Robbie - happy to wait for your considered next piece - the rarer they are the better 👍⚽

I had a short conversation with him a few weeks ago on the chat about NFL. He seemed ok but it has disappeared. As if he has left the site. Hope he is ok.

I would expect him to pop anytime now. The American football drafts (transfers in) took place yesterday and Thursday. Plenty to discuss with the other officianados.

I was expecting him to be in his element on AVFTT when the proposed Super League and subsequent re-governance of football was the hot topic of conversation, in the news, nearly 2 weeks ago.

He would normally be all over that topic.

Spoken a couple of times with the lads who run this site in Boro and BRR2 might have had access to the old site but they didn’t even know who he was.

The funny thing about those who now complain about moderation is that they are actually being dobbed on by fellow fans because they only act on reported posts. In other words those complaining clearly don’t realise how pathetic their posts are to the rest of us!

I suspect he got fcuked off with the infantile digs from people who should know better
Im quite surprised you feel that way TAM ( I can only guess you've befriended him), as I always remember BRR as a massively staunch defender of the Oystons on the old AVFTT forum, until the O's became toast....and then he had to slowly start backtracking when the penny finally dropped.

Ive never met BRR, and I'm sure he is probably a nice guy, but you still have to question his judgement, when he so naively fell for, and stubbornly defended the Oystons for so long, when every man and his dog repeatedly tried to explain to him what was going on, for so many years.

Anyway, glad he's ok.

Its almost as if he was brainwashed.
It’s almost like he was a civil servant 😉

If those who criticise him had gone through what he has gone through over the last couple of years, and in some ways is still going through, They wouldn't be so quick to point the finger.

Robbie, is a very intelligent man, a great Blackpool supporter of many years and a man with a quick and witty sense of humour. At the same time, he is quite a private man, and I'm proud to know him and class him amongst my friends.

It's so easy to point the finger at others when we all have faults of our own, and I look forward to seeing him again once things return to normal.

Hope you enjoyed the Draft, Robbie.
Jones, Barmore and Stevenson might just help remind the upstart Bills, wannabe Jets and resurgent fish of their respective places.

Interesting you should say that TAM, and I guess you know better than most what the score is.

I dare say he will be happy he's running neck and neck with Tony Blair at the mo 😁

I agree with much of your post.

I have had a few run ins with Robbie on here but wouldn't wish any bad on him for a second.

Unlike yourself, I do not know Robbie personally but I think just about all of us would agree that his contributions enhance the site and I have no reason to doubt his qualities that you have described above.

I certainly admire Robbie's passion to BFC and football in general and for his commitment to bettering things whether or not I agree with him on all topics.

I have had brief discussions with Robbie re his health and I would like to think that he knows that I wish him well with everything.

WHEN he had moderating responsibilities on this site he abused his position and applied rules inconsistently because he was not fond of the "internet persona" of other posters - I have plenty of evidence of this but would rather not discuss this with you on here right now.

I hope Robbie is doing well and returns to the site when he feels he is ready to do so.
