Giro the only decent walks take you out of Preston
It’s not a personal disagreement, it’s just that walking in the dales is the antidote to all of my stresses, and if done sensibly one that I thrive on and intend to continue with now legal.Lala,
I wouldn’t want to restrict you from doing anything that helps your mental health.
However, if you can get over the fact you’d be very close to Preston. There are some fantastic walks that would give you the same rush you might need?
I always like reading your posts because you talk common sense. Most of the time!
Indeed though I had to have a shower afterwardsI seem to remember, you took a shine to visiting the bottom of Fishergate Hill.
It's the chemical showers on the way back that sting a bit.Lytham,
If you’re heading in this direction. I do hope your inoculations are up to date?
We don’t want a nasty outbreak of lasheritis!
Ha! As a Cleveleys resident and someone who's run or cycled along the prom probably about once a week for the past few years, it is slightly surprising when "newbies" look at you like you shouldn't be there if you're just a little bit faster/more purposeful than they want to be. Did they think nobody ever went on the prom before covid??I know people in Cleveleys totally pissed off with the amount of people coming in and taking 'their' space as they see it, especially when they have no respect for social distancing.
But it isn't their space is it. And if people aren't social distancing, it goes back to what I said previously about doing our bit and showing responsibility. But I suppose if people are ignoring social distancing, despite being told countless times, it'll still be the government's fault.I know people in Cleveleys totally pissed off with the amount of people coming in and taking 'their' space as they see it, especially when they have no respect for social distancing.
No. Some people just don't get it, and you can't legislate for that. But it isn't their space is it. I think we've all seen plenty of examples of people ignoring social distancing Wiz. I'm just surprised that the infection and death rates are going down.No. Some people just don't get it, and you can't legislate for that.
I think people who have ignored government advice to self isolate and social distance have to take some of the blame for the C19 deathsI think we've all seen plenty of examples of people ignoring social distancing Wiz. I'm just surprised that the infection and death rates are going down.
