We seem to have our fair share of trialists in pre-season games in the past.

Maybe for Southport?

By the way, Blackburn Rovers have lost two of their best players for nothing this week.

Doubtful, maybe Ward will get a run-out as one, otherwise the club's got 25+ players registered, and the sort of players who turn up as trialists aren't likely to improve the squad, so why bother?


Edit:

Fun fact, the last trialist was against Burnley last year, Mitchell Clark, on the books at Leicester, ended up at Stanley on a free after Leicester supposedly asked us for £250,000 for him.

He won't just be looking at Lincoln but the fact that they finished 17th in league 1 is irrelevant to how good all their players are. It is possible to play in a struggling team and be a good player.
We got relegated but Adam, Vaughan, and Campbell were still good players!

I hope we keep him, get him on a new contract and if we have Rogers in on loan and we buy Scully and get CJ firing then with the stikers we have we would be awesome. Personally I'd sell Anderson and get a decent creative midfielder in, a cover for right back and a left sided wing back. They can fuck off with 1 million, he would be worth more to us in our side.

If they do offer £1m in the Prem, that’s the kind of cheap trick you would expect Karl to try.
They’ve not appointed him on the Board, have they? 😮
 
Nixon also saying Gabriel to Burnley, with Burton’s Tom Hamer as a possible replacement, though Burnley might cut out the middleman and get him instead.

No.I expected LR to be appointed (like everyone else)I did find out that Appleton was offered the job and would be announced Friday …. Three days before it happened. I also told you all that it wouldn’t be Michael Duff. We are at an advanced stage with several signings and that’s an absolute fact.

If we sold Bowler for 4/5 million?, maybe Sadler would see Ballard as an investment if he can pick him up near 2?

He’s worth more than that in my eyes and has all his best years ahead!

Truth be told though - I don’t believe we will get him

Burnley are spending 1.6m on luke mcnally (cb) from Oxford, they will have to dig deep if they want Gabriel aswel with 3 years left on his contract with us, hope we hang on to him though

Think the only way were getting him is if we orchestrate some kind of structured deal.

I know I'm being picky but Eky and Ballard (edit) are both righties. We do look a lot mkre comfortable moving the ball forward out of defense with a leftie at LCB. That's partly why Thorniley looks more composed on the ball when he plays.

would love Ballard but don't know whether it's realistic or not. And would certainly like some sort of big signing as I feel the fans need a bit of a pick me up after the last few weeks.

And in other news.. rumours are earth is not flat... of course we are in talks with players.. and of course you have no idea who they are..can u not get the attention you want in your life..
