KaiKai, Virtue, Mitchell all made a contribution after coming on. Yates superb, Lubala set one up.
Only downside is Gretarsson, looks like a ripped muscle
And we deserved that.
Have to say Ajayi is a great asset, I think he'll be starting for West Brom after that, one the only WBA players who turned up

To be fair to 62, he posted once earlier in the thread and there was slight positivity. Even nuance. Been a real turn up for the books today!
 
Well deserved result 🙂👍 Some very poor penalties from W.B.A. though. I actually thought that the best save came from their keeper off Yates. Brilliant to see us go through and on Monday we'll get to know our possible next two opponents. 👍🙂

Kemp and Lubala.....mmmmm

Some utter utter crap pens from them.

2-2 FT was fair +/- 5%. After ET the win on Pens 100% justified.
 
I loved Madine's response after he rammed home his penalty, turning to the cheating Baggie's keeper and calling him a 'TW@T'.

Why ever did Button not get a yellow for gamesmanship when he kept Yates waiting on the spot at the start of the shootout?

love it. good performance all round. Ward was immense covered every blade of grass and then moved out to the wing and did a decent job there as well. the only times we looked stretched was with their wingers against our full backs but i think that was to be expected. Dougall seemed to get his mojo back second half, and was commanding, Virtue when he came on caused them problems.

fourth round here we come.

I didn't see it FCB. I listened on iPlayer (£2.50 if you please) - but the sound I got was better than normal radio, so hey-ho.
Anyway, I'm a Kemp fan but I know he struggled from the start at Bristol. So, expand. Lubala didn't sound good coming from Chizz and Brett. Kemp? Not so good?
 
Fantastic all round performance. Some very good individual performances, but what was equally pleasing, was our fitness levels, against a PL team. If we can transfer that to the league, we’ll get ourselves on another good run.

I posted earlier in the season that we’d hold our own in the Championship. We do have a lot of quality and in L1 it’s more of a battle. If we can get into the top 6, I think we’ll be hard to knock out.
