Bristol Rovers v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 02.01.21

Another half time masterclass by the opisition manager works out how we play tinkers with his team and we get mullered second half.
Critch needs to learn that this will happen and teach his players to adapt.

Nearly 70 and no subs. He's like a rabbit caught in the headlights. I wonder if Calderwood is advising him but he's being stubborn.

Sadly we only have two players capable of going past a man. CJ with his pace and Kaikai when he feels like it. Without that we're all a bit pedestrian unless the passing is spot on, which today it is not!

Our biggest problem is that we are one paced. Even when we are a goal down and needing to attack its all the same. No urgency at all.

One of my issues with Critch is that if he’s this wonderful coach then where is the evidence? Can anyone name one player who looks like they’ve significantly improved since the start of the season ? Are they coached in how to defend, again I can’t see much evidence of it ? Everything looks off the cuff to me, basically this is the team now go and play etc

Were we led into a false sense of hope when pool went on that run 😔
maybe the potential is there , but something is missing , is it what I said , a quality striker needed , or is it something else
do we all need patients and time with this squad , maybe next season will be more experienced and know how 🤷
just trying to be postive here
