What always puts me off about the England football team is the way that the press and the fans are so bloody cocksure about themselves before every tournament. Then, when they lose they go into complete meltdown: "it should never have happened", they shouldn't be beating us..."
I think England will win and maybe, comfortably. They are one of the fancied teams in this tournament but please, season your support with a dressing of humility.

I don't know a single person who thinks we're going to win the tournament.
 
A few of the Scotland team are in trouble after playing football with a hedgehog in Hyde Park last night.
Bystanders were horrified and called the police. Just as the police finally turned up the hedgehog went 1-0 up.
Laboured 1-0 win for us.
 
England need to be on it from the first second. Scotland will start like the Highland Hordes, passion over ability, not at all confident. Remember our two losses on the run in to bottom of the table teams.

A nervy 1 - 0 to E England for me.
 
Pathetic, Brown says if Scotland win tonight the players will go down in legend.
One bloody game, talk about little man syndrome.

How about trying to get out of a group stage rather than winning one match 🤦‍♂️
 
Looks like itv are in a love in for Scotland....unfortunately when it comes to football or any sports I despise them with a passion and even more so now with that Krankie woman.

Had to keep quiet at the time in Edinburgh at the Festival a few years ago, whilst at a multi performer taster at the Opera House some Jock comedian which may have been the guy who was just on the box, played the intro to "It's coming home, it's coming home" which stopped abruptly & to loud laughter from the mainly Scottish audience said " No it's ** not" I really wanted to shout out at least we were there. So with that in mind let's get them whooped. 😂
