We seem to have signed too many gamble players, if they're fit they're good, but they are in and out and leaves you without consistency.

Can’t believe he’s dropped Jerry, ridiculous, particularly after watching 30 minutes of the completely ineffective JJ and Lavery partnership on Tuesday. Jerry is so important to us.

Garbutt still gets a start, he’s been woeful. Hubby and James both better options.

Crying out for 3-5-2 with the players we have.

I'm definitely nervous about this one. It won't have escaped Warnock's attention that we don't mix it too well. I share your concern about Garbutt's defending too. He's clearly trying to toughen up and tighten up but this division is a hard school. Hopefully he'll come through today.
 
Critch will have picked what he sees to be the best team for the win, so we go with that.
If he needs to change things we've got a strong bench - just time it right please.
Our supporters sound noisy and ready to shout the players on & they're only in the concourse area!

I'd gladly take a point right now, Onel Hernandez who is on loan from Norwich to Middlesbrough can be a right handful if he's on it. And I still would have started Yates rather than TJJ.
 
Looking forward to seeing what Dujon can do. He looked sharp on Tuesday and put in our best cross of the game.
 
Looks like Critchely wants to keep it tight, TJJ in 10 role bringing something extra into midfield.
Agree about Dujon, I have a feeling he could be very good, he may be playing the CDM role before long.
Looks a bit like the long ball may be a tactic

Dropping Jerry just feels like a panic decision. I’m worried that it’s taking NC so long to get there.

Keshi is a positive, but without Stewart we have a missing link. Kenny and Wintle are great players, just too similar in my opinion.

Hubby was a no brainier at LB, if he’s not playing alongside Marv.
 
I'm really disappointed that he's dropped Jerry Yates to the bench but perhaps a bit of a rest will do him good? Not sure what it will do for his confidence though. Always difficult to second guess Critch's team selections, time will tell 😬
 
It’s just Stewart missing that’s the concern for me, the rest of it looks fine. If he’s picked up a knock again then he must be made from balsa wood. Our best player who never plays! We need to sort out a couple of central midfielders in January which should have happened in August 2020!

I just think it'll take Critchley a bit of time to work out his best X1, like it did last season.
This time last year we had MJ Williams starting as CDM, I don't think Dougall had been signed. Hopefully we can sign someone extra for midfield either on a loan or as a free agent
 
Centre of the park a big worry again today. Can’t let Howson have a free game to dictate the play like we let Hogg do on Tuesday.

Yes, but last year I get, not this season after a good time in the role. This league is unforgiving.

Anyone decent won’t be until January, but I think we have the players now, just the wrong formation.
