QPR v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 23.02.22

Gavin Ward is the ref. Sent Connolly off at Milwall but I thnk that's the only time we've had him this season.

Safe journey to everybody going to, currently just passed Rugby on the 08:00 from PNE to Euston. Should a good one, staying over at Holiday Inn Express at Watford Junction before the taking the tube later this evening with Mrs Cornish.

Can't see us getting much from tonight to be honest. We're not getting the rub of the green either with luck or officials.

Wouldn't mind Critch giving Beesley a run out with Lavery, nothing to lose. Rest up big Gaz for Saturday.

Bowler will hopefully show QPR what a talent they used to have tonight as he showed Bournemouth the other week what they could have had if they weren't so tight 😆

Long may he reign in Tangerine 🧡

Another supergoal would be nice but any goal from him and his gifted wizardry would be great 👍

Tough challenge, they've got a number of young, talented, and quick players - we'll have to be on our toes.
Let's stuff it up 'The Rotters'.

Critch, has been stating in the Gazette, that QPR will be feeling like a wounded animal, having lost 3 in five of their last matches and as such must be treated a danger. I would say likewise with us - being equally ‘wounded’, having conceded so late to lose to Bournemouth and having a blatant penalty ruled out against Cardiff. I just hope we don’t show them any amount of respect and go hell for leather, high pressing, straight from the start.

We're due an away win, QPR avin a bit of a bad run. Our luck has to change. I'm strangely more worried about getting a result v Reading now with Ince as manager.

The team isn t scoring goals that is the problem I can t see any big win coming soon.
8 goals in the last 6 games. Not remarkable but ...

Rovers 1
WBA 1
Hull 2
Preston 4
Swansea 4
Cov 7
QPR 7
Hudds 9
Forest 10
Boro 10
Sheff U 10 (top of form table)
Bournemouth 11
Fulham 15 the only team >11

last time i saw pool at QPR was when we had the kit with the white sleeves 2003/4 maybe. Got some tickets off a QPR season ticket holder but had to sit with the QPR fans, think it ended up 1-1.

One day it’ll fall in to place. The ref will give us the penalty, the ball will go in rather than hit the post and the keeper won’t make a great save from Madines bullet header. There’s a 4-0 win round the corner.
Let's have a 5-0 win soon, like the Wigan match last season, which puts us into a plus goal difference again too.
🧡 UTMP 🧡
