Yours for not a penny less than £10MNew striker for use, looks good Hardie
Glad he's turned out good for you, obviously loves the club and life down south. Good for himYours for not a penny less than £10M
Flog him to Nobbers for £10M, you can then have Yates for £5M.Yours for not a penny less than £10M
They'll need to flog an awful lot of cheap season tickets to be able to avoid 1 of his legs. I'd guess Villa would want £4M+ and a massive sell-on clause. The only clubs with that amount of money are those with Prem parachute payments.Nobbers want Archer back but Gerrard wants a permanent deal.
Surely worth bidding the Bowler fee?
What Bowler fee?Nobbers want Archer back but Gerrard wants a permanent deal.
Surely worth bidding the Bowler fee?
I mean when he departs soon. What Bowler fee?
OK, 5 Million is looking *a bit* optimistic considering today's announcementYep, think the overall budget last Summer and Winter (based on what we spent and were allegedly going to spend) was around 2.5 Million.
Given the fact that we were coming off a year without fans I think that was a very solid amount of money.
However, this Summer I expect that number to be a lot higher given
1) The amount of players we offloaded in the Winter.
2) The fact that we had 1 Million left to spend on Brannagan but didn't pull the trigger in January.
3) Bowler's fee which will be around 3-5 Million which I expect a good amount to directly be reinvested.
Honestly think Critchley will have the highest transfer budget any Blackpool manager in history has had. Could be upwards of 5 Million.
Exciting times ahead.
I was told the same on Monday night by a Hartlepool fan, that it's a done dealI've had 3 or 4 different HUFC fans tell me that Luke Molyneux is on his way to us.
I've no idea if it's true or where is come from.
Must be trueI was told the same on Monday night by a Hartlepool fan, that it's a done deal
Absolutely nowhere near good enough. We should try and sign Dom Telford who started his career with our youth team if we're looking at league 2 players. Finished top scorer with 25 goals.
Again, EFL Hub is not a real source. He's a random bloke who finds rumours from other people and reposts themToday's Twitter rumour is Ebou Adams, FGR CM. This one could have some substance as we went in for him in January and he's now out of contract.
On what basis?Absolutely nowhere near good enough.
Out of contract players most likely, we've probably got a couple lined up already but won't announce until the season's completely over.Given the overtones from the pending developments off the field are we likely to see the promotion of youth from within sooner and less reliance on actual signings?
What's large? We won't be spending above a million, I'm pretty sure of that, but we probably have to go above 250,000.Hasn't Simon Sadler just said, with the investment he is forking out from his own pocket, for the training ground and East, don't expect large transfer fees this summer ?
He's scored twice as many as Beesley at that level?Absolutely nowhere near good enough.
It's not just about numbers I think. There are players who bang in loads of goals lower down but don't make it higher up. Beesley has obviously been scouted for his all round game and his potential to improve. He hadn't even played many games in L2. Telford is 5' 7" for one thing - might go against him. He's scored twice as many as Beesley at that level?
yep, agree. Telford since leaving Stoke has already been at Plymouth, Bury, Bristol Rovers and finally Newport which is the only tream he's had success at. Pretty much been a bench player til this season. Nowhere near good enough. It's not just about numbers I think. There are players who bang in loads of goals lower down but don't make it higher up. So plenty of experience then and just found his feet at 25. 24 goals in 27 appearance's all from open play for a mid table side suggests he has potential.yep, agree. NoWhat would people say if we had a look at Scott Sinclair for a bit of experience at this level? Available on a free, hell of a player on his day and probably wants to stay in the area because of his missus...
that's your view but for me, he ain't good enough. So plenty of experience then and just found his feet at 25. 24 goals in 27 appearance's all from open play for a mid table side suggests he has potential.
I agree 100%.So plenty of experience then and just found his feet at 25. 24 goals in 27 appearance's all from open play for a mid table side suggests he has potential.
Basically yes. It’s in the minutes.Hasn't Simon Sadler just said, with the investment he is forking out from his own pocket, for the training ground and East, don't expect large transfer fees this summer ?

He said don’t expect massive transfer feesBasically yes. It’s in the minutes.
And it depends how Mr Sadler defines massive , I prefer not to speculate on things I don’t have a clue about, and, it could be smoke and mirrors while they negotiate with other clubs .He said don’t expect massive transfer fees
I don't think he'll go much beyond what we paid for Gabriel, and that's probably about 1 per season. And it depends how Mr Sadler defines massive , I prefer not to speculate on things I don’t have a clue about, and, it could be smoke and mirrors while they negotiate with other clubs .
I would imagine they still want CB from Oxford, and we’re not getting him for for less than £1m pounds. Unless they’ve found a better , more creative midfielder for less money .I don't think he'll go much beyond what we paid for Gabriel, and that's probably about 1 per season.
I’ve got a feeling we might do our decent business before Bowler moves on, so the fee doesn’t interfere with our negotiations.I think we'll have a reasonable budget (for us, not the Championship) which will increase dramatically if/when we sell Bowler. I don't expect huge fees but think we'll spend in the region of £1M on a player or 2 if they are the right fit.
I suspect you may be right, the fact he was 'rested' suggests a deal has already been struck. It would make perfect sense to identify targets where a fee is required and try to get them tied up before announcing Bowler's departure.I’ve got a feeling we might do our decent business before Bowler moves on, so the fee doesn’t interfere with our negotiations.

Lua Lua wasn’t bad tooThere was nobody better than Ludo Sylvestre, Grandin was also decent occasionally.
shadow of his former self sadlyWhat would people say if we had a look at Scott Sinclair for a bit of experience at this level? Available on a free, hell of a player on his day and probably wants to stay in the area because of his missus...
