Quick question....
Why have the prem and championship teams been put into alphabetical order upto ball No 44 then the rest of the clubs who've made it through to rnd 3 been thrown in at the end at random?
Ted before I read the comments my thought was knowing our track record we will get Reading away....great mindsWe always get a shit tie away like Reading whereas the Nobbers always seem to be at home
We certainly do, but we can still boast the only player to score a hat trick in a FA Cup final. We have a poor history in FA Cup since 53.
Never beaten a Premiership side (FA cup) and last victory over top flight club was Burnley in mid 70’s. We have been humiliated by non league teams on many occasions .
Surely we are due a change of fortune and hit the football headlines one day.
Barnsley away would be another favourite crap draw...Ted before I read the comments my thought was knowing our track record we will get Reading away....great minds
Bet it’s Donny away what a crap draw that will be.Barnsley away would be another favourite crap draw...
At Wembley. Pre-Wembley there were two hat-tricks in the final. We certainly do, but we can still boast the only player to score a hat trick in a FA Cup final.
So we're expected to wear a tie for the draw? Since when was their a dress code?.....whichever tie you were drawn in in the round before.
The top two Divisions always go 1-44 in the R3 draw. And the remainder are numbered in the order that they came out for the R2 draw.
If you make R4 or beyond then your number will be that of whichever tie you were drawn in in the round before.
Marine at home would give us a good chance of claiming the £82,000 prize money for being a 3rd round winner.Easiest team in the draw at home please
I seem to recall reading that 25% of that may still be allocated to the losers due to continuing restrictions. Fa were just waiting to see what the situation is come JanuaryLowest ranked team at home. Guaranteed to be on TV and a good chance to progress and get some prize money to help finances. £82,500 prize money for 3rd round winners.
Teddy Howe was mustard that night! (for them...)Reading last season was very winnable and their second string took us apart at BR. It's a tough game no matter what team they put out.
Indeed 4-0 and the walk to the coach park wasn’t pleasantLet's hope it is an improvement on our trip there in R3 in 1978. That was grim in every sense of the word.
No chance of tv.
