Hubby and Connolly good replacements to have ! Thompson got sucked out of position too often today
 
Thats 2 home defeats now with his matches as the crucial moment.

He alright sometimes but has a bad mistake in him each game.

Swansea he gifted them a goal and today, thats no good enough.

Why isn't Husband involved.

Hes always been so solid at LB.

No one on the bench to replace him with.
Thompson did have a mare but that's what you'll get from young players learning the game. Acknowledgiing your mistakes is all part of it.
He's on the same path as Gabriel.
I'd certainly rest him if Hubby is fit but I wouldn't be writing him off.

Yeah, pinged a couple of crosses too far. Looked a bit too revved up to make amends.
 
He made a massive error which led to the goal and he knew it

After that his head probably wasn’t right which perhaps explains the performance after

However he is a good player and works hard

He is an asset - give him a break

Husband injured again 😩
 
DT has been excellent up until the last 4 games but to make 3 big defensive errors in succession where he gave the ball away cheaply one of which Pukkie scored from was unbelievably careless and reckless. He's a very good player and he'll recover from this.
 
He didn't have a good game. Kept giving the ball away, crossing was poor, and obviously the mistake for their goal. We do have to remember though that he is only 22 and he does have potential.

Correct, the howler for the goal was the 5th time he had given the ball away.

He needs a spell out. He’s only young and still learning. Clearly MA feels that about Grimmy by replacing him with Maxi and the same applies to Dom. Assuming Hubby is fit, it’s time for him to have a run.
 
It was Norwich's kit. Dom had a Man Utd/Southampton moment when Utd claimed they couldnt see each other on the pitch and Pukki ghosted in.. 🤣

Thinking back on yesterday, DT just needs to calm it down a bit which will come with experience.

He had a shocker but would we have been better bringing Connolly on and playing either him or Thorniley at left back?
I don't think so, if Husband was on the bench you would probably be right.
