If we were to let him go for that, our plan to get proper fees for players under SS would have fallen at the first test.I will be fuming if Blackpool let bowler go for 1.5M worth at least twice that shit offer
Unless he had to do it with his tongue.I wouldn't employ him to clean bird shit off of the seats in the East.
If we were to let him go for that, our plan to get proper fees for players under SS would have fallen at the first test.
Let’s hope this 1.5 million talk is all bullshit.
He not the same player at all, he plays more of a free role and drifts in. Bowler is a nailed on right winger."Fulham midfielder Fabio Carvalho could move to Liverpool in a deal which could see the 19-year-old, who has played for England at youth levels, loaned back to the Championship club until the end of the season." If this happens then Bowler to Fulham becomes less likely in this window. I genuinely believe the longer we hold on to Bowler the higher is value will grow. Also, I would expect more interest from the Premier League.
We 100% need to strengthen there!Do we really need to strengthen in midfield? It might be nice but given our league position and the players who are still to come back from injury what we've got already should be more than adequate.
At this stage I'd say CB is too expensive and we'd be better off keeping the money and looking at other options in the summer.
It would given the model we're aspiring too. And given Bowler is at the stage where he is getting better at an increasing rate. That reflects in his value, so selling him at the base of his rise would be madness imo.Bowler is definitely worth more than 1.5 Million and I'd be slightly disappointed if we sold for that fee with no sell-on, but if we took a player we signed for nothing in the Summer and then flipped him for 1.5 Million in 6 months it still wouldn't be bad business.
It would be bad business for me. He’s worth way more than £1.5 million that valuation is a joke.Bowler is definitely worth more than 1.5 Million and I'd be slightly disappointed if we sold for that fee with no sell-on, but if we took a player we signed for nothing in the Summer and then flipped him for 1.5 Million in 6 months it still wouldn't be bad business.
1.5 would be insane. Unless we have silly add ons!It would given the model we're aspiring too. And given Bowler is at the stage where he is getting better at an increasing rate. That reflects in his value, so selling him at the base of his rise would be madness imo.
Even so, much higher in the summer (?) still with crazy add ons.1.5 would be insane. Unless we have silly add ons!
& to another championship club - nightmare loomingIt would be bad business for me. He’s worth way more than £1.5 million that valuation is a joke.
Agreed. He looks like he has turned a corner in terms of his end product, as we all said he improves that and he is next level, lad doing what he is doing in this league is worth more than 1.5. For me it is his contact length that is keeping the price down.Even so, much higher in the summer (?) still with crazy add ons.
We 100% need to strengthen there!
8 points off 5th placed West Brom with a game in hand, why not. Why?
We're safe from relegation, not really pushing for play-offs, we've got enough CM's for now and others to come back from injury, rather than paying silly money now why not wait and see if better value's available in the summer?
End of Jan and in this position we are absolutely in the hunt, outsiders of course but in the hunt! Imagine the team talk, ok lads nowt to play for just go and enjoy it, Jan ffs!8 points off 5th placed West Brom with a game in hand, why not.
yeah.. that's him... coming from The Usual Suspects! This is the same Bowler who a month ago was said be inconsistent with no end product, a luxury player who should be an impact sub?
Just checking...
1.5 isn't a joke, and our offer of a 1 million for CB isn't a joke either. I'd rather we kept him, but one swallow doesn't make a summer - ok three of four swallows maybe make a summer ... if his fee is used well, then all ok. If we lose any of our top players and fail to replace them, then it will be a bad day. Ideal outcome - no top players leave and we bring in a top CM.1.5 as said is a joke, keep him then let’s see what price he attracts at the end of the season (as he just looks to keep getting better) it will also give us time to plan a proper replacement
A swallow would make your day though...1.5 isn't a joke, and our offer of a 1 million for CB isn't a joke either. Lol true a few did say that. Regardless, he is class and one of a few players we have who could make the step up. You dont sell these players if you want to get into a play off scrap. This is the same Bowler who a month ago was said be inconsistent with no end product, a luxury player who should be an impact sub?

A bit uncalled for surely - wash your mouth out son ...A swallow would make your day though...
Sounds like Bowler going is very very much on the cards.
1.5 is a joke, his potential in 5-10 mill if we can keep him and he improves. He is rarity these days, not many players who can rip up your defence no matter how organised, plus he is in a league above compared to CB. Brenna J at Forest rated in the 18 mill bracket, wasn't great against us in The PO final.1.5 isn't a joke, and our offer of a 1 million for CB isn't a joke either. I'd rather we kept him, but one swallow doesn't make a summer - ok three of four swallows maybe make a summer ... if his fee is used well, then all ok. I doubt Everton would see the funny side. I really hope we keep him - let's keep it real though. We will have to pay 1.2 or 1 plus Thornily for a league one player who may or may not be shit hot but has never played above league one.
The 1.5 valuation for Bowler has to be rubbish. He’s turning championship defenders inside out FFS.
Not looking good IMOForest up their bid
