Brannagan, but both will be playing in the Championship next season
Aye, Sykes for Wigan and Brannagan for us.

Maybe. But I don’t see the need to sell in January if the player doesn’t want to and we could focus on another loan to replace Wintle and see how the land lies in terms of Bowler in the summer. We could even try to offer him a better deal to ensure we can get real value for him when he goes. Not sure I agree on that SATW. Wouldn't suggest he does. If anything I'd suggest the club is getting a decent fee for him and are happy to swap him and get CB and a decent loan winger in.
As the bid?Rektseasider posted 4m on here.
No as what we wanted before we'd do business. As the bid?
He's posting loads on players profiles. Interacting with fans. Went mental when he scored. I don't see him wanting to leave but I imagine getting 16k a week compared to probably 4-6k a week will be massively appealing.Maybe. No, I am fully aware he was a free agent. I was making the point that for us to sign him we offered 1+1 deal with a salary that would be a the top end of our scale but lower than he was on at Everton.I know, but the poster seemed to think he took a pay cut, which he didn’t. I personally, as you suggest, think we were only ever a short term for him to put himself in the shop window. If we get between 1&2 million for him after 6 months, that’s good business. Although like many others I would like him to stay, it’s never going to happen.
You can still want to leave without wanting to leave. He's posting loads on players profiles. Interacting with fans. Went mental when he scored. I don't see him wanting to leave but I imagine getting 16k a week compared to probably 4-6k a week will be massively appealing.
Could see it happening unfortunately, albeit with CB going in summer. If both went today, think we'd need a new manager as well as midfield!Aye, Sykes for Wigan and Brannagan for us.
If that's the case give an example of a player we've cashed in on...He didn’t join us for lower wages as he was without a club
Lower than fcuk all would take some doing
He hasn't got a release clause this is the club cashing in if he goes .. unfortunately thats our policy now
Maybe the club want other clubs who are selling to think we are only getting 1.5mBecause no one has denied it.
Yeah looking like no Brannagan or Norburn. And no Bowler. But it's changing rapidly.£2.5m with no proper replacement (Morgan Rogers is another right footer like Dale, Keshi and Kirk) is still shite business.
It's looking grim for us at the mo.
Fair point!Maybe the club want other clubs who are selling to think we are only getting 1.5m
He shouldn’t have to, it’s a realistic fact that our business model is based around cashing in on players. I’m hoping Phil’s use of the word ‘unfortunately’ is just an acknowledgment of that reality, rather than a criticism. If that's the case give an example of a player we've cashed in on...
Only 3.5 hours left. I'm becoming more relaxed by the minute.Yeah looking like no Brannagan or Norburn. And no Bowler. But it's changing rapidly.

This just can't be an option. Now saying noburn Off Rogers staying at Bournemouth. Bournemouth and forest fighting it out for bowler. Can see us losing bowler and getting nobody in
Sorry, yes!2.5 hours left
You’re so relaxed, you’re losing track of time.Only 3.5 hours left. I'm becoming more relaxed by the minute.
Indeed!2.5hrs

Bournemouth sign Siriki Dembele from Posh, which suggests Forest are on their own in the hunt for Josh Bowler now. Wonder what it means for Morgan Rogers as well
It's a measure of Pool's progress that during a transfer window the forum is debating and arguing how many MILLION we are selling a player for.
Looking worse the longer it drags onNow saying noburn Off Rogers staying at Bournemouth. Bournemouth and forest fighting it out for bowler. Can see us losing bowler and getting nobody in
And Nuttall is still supposed to be going to ScunthorpeAt least we have got Lubala out on loan
Hopefully Nuttall as well by 11pm.At least we have got Lubala out on loan
Is the club making progress? It's not progress if we sell one of our best players in January, imo.

So there is no evidence? Jerry Yates, there was interest in him from Rovers in the summer window. What happened? Did we sell him? No. he signed a long term deal.He shouldn’t have to, it’s a realistic fact that our business model is based around cashing in on players. I’m hoping Phil’s use of the word ‘unfortunately’ is just an acknowledgment of that reality, rather than a criticism.
Nuttall to be announced as a Scunthorpe player any moment now...
I thought city wanted him out of there as he was getting limited pitch time.Rogers apparently staying at Bournemouth.
Sure, but it's a complex process of dealing with many things. Each player's situation is individual and the club can't always do what it would choose to do. We ought to trust this management set up to do the best it can, going off the evidence of the last 2 years.Of course. I was responding to the specific point about transfers.
It is compared to the years we had under the Oystons when nobody wanted any of our players! It's not progress if we sell one of our best players in January, imo.
He hasn’t been recalled, yet.I thought city wanted him out of there as he was getting limited pitch time.

And you got that from the last game did you?All the talk and 'body language' from the club tells you Bowler wants out. Obviously we need to max the fee, but as much as it's a shame we won't get far with players that aren't committed to the club.
