I had moved from my seat in M block to the SW corner, when we scored. I have never heard the ground so loud, ever!!

No...you just need a good workplace pension and no mortgage (speaking from experience).

    Martin v Madine

Not relevant to this head to head, but David McGoldrick is 35, 6' 0" played 39 games for Derby in League 1 last season and scored 22 goals. I think Chris Martin could thrive in League 1, but it's been suggested that he wants more than a one year contract. Maybe asking a little too much. May be...

    Matthew Pennington signs

On the face of it, he seems like a great signing. He also has played with Norburn at Shrewsbury (although he hasn't signed YET! 😉)

    Ollie Norburn

If this is true, that's the captain/leader we needed. Very highly regarded by Posh fans.

Did we know the team are off to Ireland?

Just pondering...is it fair to assume that Yates is a goner (along with all the released [players) and at the same time assume the club hasn't identified potential replacements. The recruitment team will undoubtedly be talking to many players, to cover the shortfall in squad numbers. Some of...

    Is it concerning…

On the club web site: "Pre-season training gets underway on Monday, as the First-Team and Development Squad players begin their preparations for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign. With the fixture schedule for the new season confirmed on Thursday, it's full-steam ahead for Neil Critchley's squad...

    Ticket prices M Block

That's correct. Renewal prices are also the same as early bird prices (for over 65s) but in all other blocks renewal prices are £20 lower than early birds! But if you relocate you could save up to £180....it's a hard decision.

    Poveda

This is exactly what was said by a mate of mine in the second half. I have to agree ability wise there are real similarities. However, he has a long way to go to match Tony's composure and humility! Great observation tho'.

Early 70s clip of the town of Blackpool

Well, that brings back memories for me! I worked on the beach from about the age of 15 (1970). I did a summer season on a "seafood barrow", two seasons on Naventi's ice-cream and later in life did a season on the trams. All quite interesting, in their own way.

    Raikes Hall Gardens

A very well-presented video. (Through a contact) I've alerted Heritage Blackpool about its existence. I'm sure they'll view it with interest. For those that are interested in the history of Blackpool a new museum "Showtown" is being created and is due to open next year. As the say in their...
