Official Transfer Deadline Day thread…

We have plenty of quality (on loan albeit), would you have rather them signed players who probably wouldn't cut it at this level just for the sake of signing players?
As has been said too many loans and next season we start all over again. Also if some of the loans are poor as TJJ , send them back in January and we are back to square one.

Not an amazing transfer window, but not a disaster either, it's obvious the club have really tried to bring in quality that they know will succeed.

It's not out fault that the market is incredibly inflated and League 1 clubs (Wednesday) are rejecting 1m bids for players with less than a year left on their contract.

Could the club have done better? Sure, of course they can, but the people who are wanting to chant "Mansford Out" at the next game need to take a deep breath.

The loans are great and when our injured players get back we will kick on.

MA has shown that he is the right man for the job so far and I am confident that we will be fine this year with the Summer we've had.

And if we need to strengthen in January we know we will have the money to do so.

I'm still undecided if Theo is the new Messi or a newly born giraffe. Two are injured and one doesn't arrive until January. Thompson has been a great SIGNING though.

Feel sorry for my lad sat by his computer all day convinced we would sign a couple. Complete and utter let down....unless we are about to announce a raft of signings.
On the plus side 4 million on top of the Critchley money, let's look forward to January.

Let's be honest, this hasn't been a good window at all. Selling our best player and not even coming close to replacing him. I'm not even angry, I'm just disheartened by it all.

‘Yeah, but, yeah… I was talking to Heckie, and Critch… about what a Blackpool player is? We do it the right way… we nearly got things over the line’

So the money is going out of the club, but the loans might be as bad as TJJ?

Jesus. 😆

we desperately needed an experienced midfielder. We haven’t - yet - got one unless it is very late. That can’t be a good deadline day. Yes players are coming back from injury but this is a huge gamble.
