Sunderland v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 04.10.22

Shocking standard of football if I’m honest. Poor technical ability and barring a goalmouth scramble we pose barely any threat

I will take that. Saturday i reckon we will be short in defence though. We so need a sniffer.

Well, I'll take that, but 2nd half should have won it really.

Need to start making it full games like that, not just 1 half.

Terrible 1st half, why can't we press highly from the off.

Something to build on there, well done for turning it around.

We were absolutely awful first half and brilliant second. We desperately need a striker though.

Happy with that but should have been 3 points. Well done Pool and well done those who went, safe journey home!

Point gained, positive second half.

We'd have taken that at the start

Need to sort our shit out though. Could / should have been out of it at half time.. With Simms &Stewart it probably would have been.

Would have taken that before kick off. Fair result overall after the first half. Much better and on top the second half.

Thought maxwell was good. Cracking couple of saves. Corbeanu looked lively and dangerous when he came on. Yates put in a massive shift again. Thompson done well too I thought.

Lavery doesn’t cut the mustard IMO. Always seems to struggle.

I will just say two things, we need strikers because we have none ,and Sunderland are probably one of the worst sides I've seen for a long time.
