Watford v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 14.01.23

Dear Michael,
We don’t want league 1 football. ( Because I don’t think you could get us back out ) well maybe downwards.
So please just FUCK OFF.
Thanks,
TTG.

I'm not sure what everyone expected today, against a top end of the table team, massive spenders compared to us, the addition of a couple of players does not change leaving our top scorer on the bench or the ineptitude of the cretin that is our current manager

Persevering with Carey and Patino together just makes no sense at all. Two young lads learning their way. They are walking through us and they are not even a particularly decent team.
Neither of them are defensive midfielders, both are better higher up the pitch... have we played them together for the whole 10 games in a row without a win? It's ** stupid.

Can't wait for the post match comments from Appleton.
"I think we were the better team
Obviously there is a gulf in quality
But that's obvious coz we're little blackpool and much shitter than them
We lack quality at times
But the one thing the team really do is try very hard"

I’m just waiting for welsh phil to come on and defend him, he’s been unlucky with injuries, a poor summer window etc. Anything except the fact he’s a useless manager. Poor team selection doesn’t make subs until it’s too late, reactive instead of proactive and a miserable git to boot.

There is no successful team ever in my memory played without a tackling midfielder.
Not even the possession meisters like Barcelona who always had a Busquets etc

Regardless of anything else that has to be the glaring error of our set up. We’ve got a lot of attacking and wide options but if you can run through us at will and if we cannot pressure you to win it back then our chances of surviving are slim.

Michael - please reconsider this failed experiment.
