Just back. Been to a few Ryder Cups but this was probably the best for location and atmosphere. Stayed in centre of Rome and thought transport might be a problem but it all went with military precision. The venue was huge but after final practise day manage to sort out a strategy for best...

Probably the best ever day of the Ryder Cup I have been fortunate enough to attend.Met up with a few from PLF and the Gold Coast.Best atmosphere and a great first day result.Looking forward to tomorrow

Course was manic today on the last practise day.Arrived mid morning on course and saw no more than a dozen tee shots and similar number of puts.Expecting similar tomorrow with only 4 matches on course at any one time not easy viewing with so many spectators allowed on course

The 'Prudential Tram' at 3.45 brings back many memories. As the sports and social secretary at the Pru I used to organise a free jolly on the tram for employees on the first night of the Lights with free drinks all round. Was great fun kicking off the holidaymakers trying to get on. Happy days

Apologies if already discussed but was looking to renew for the coming season for the main car parks adjacent to the ground. Council website refers to last season at £65. Has anyone renewed/obtained new permit and if so what is cost? Will it cover this Sat friendly ?

Was a great day catching up at the cricket and putting all things to right regarding BFC and did manage to get home after I finally remembered in which street I'd parked the car !

On previous visit to QPR purchased a ticket for stand close to away end and when inside mentioned to a steward I was a Pool supporter who then kindly walked me round to the away fans .Job done

So that would be a large JD then

6 of us booked into the Ember Yard on Berwick St for a meal at 6.30pm so might try and catch up with you Bus later at the Coach and Horses
