Winmarith was my second home as a youngster. Bought a flat on Burlington road so I was always close. A few of us set up Winmarith FC and played in the Sunday Alliance for a few seasons. Home ground was Common Edge or Palatine school. Local derby’s with Highfield Social were tasty affairs.
