    Clarke Harris

Bit of a joke that we weren't in for him if this is true.

    Owen Moffat

That entire transfer window was strange. Owen Moffat, Zak Emmerson and Callum Wright. All young players that we paid a transfer fee for, and they have had a handful of first team appearances between them.

Money and time can buy you fans.

Bowler charm offensive, Forest Cup win…

Negativity breeds negativity and that will eventually affect the performances on the pitch. Otherwise there'd be no point in the crowd turning up to show their support.

Has he gone yet? - He has now!

I don't think we should appoint Thommo but he only has 9 less wins at this level than Appleton prior to us appointing him again. And a much better ratio.

So we lose a game against a top team

This is beyond deluded if you compare to last season where we legitimately did compete nearly every game. We made Sunderland look like they were a Champions League team in the second half the other night.

    Here's how I see it

His technical ability, first touch, and how comfortable he is on the ball are his greatest strengths. I think his passing/vision is overrated beyond belief though, I can think of only maybe 4 or 5 balls he's played all season that have been particularly notable. And he's just so unbelievably...

    A large slice of…..

Fulham and Bournemouth were absolutely trouncing the division when we played them last season though while Watford were on a run of 2 wins in 9 and having just sacked their manager. It was obviously a great performance yesterday but different circumstances.

    Jimmy Armfield Mural Update 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Looks really nice and I'm sure it'll look even better when I see it with my own eyes on Saturday. Great job guys.

If you are blaming Appleton then you are an idiot

What I saw of them in the play-offs they didn't look like much. They got lucky with Sunderland making ridiculous mistakes in the semis and then barely turned up in the final.

So then after 10 league games.

Could hardly have been worse now could it?

Millwall v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 17.09.22

So were Hudderfield and we only won due to a once in a blue moon technology failure. So were Stoke, so were Swansea...

Rotherham v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 14.09.22

Even against Huddersfield we were just the better of two shit teams. It's crazy that Appleton thought we needed more of the same.

    Drinkwater deal no go .

One of those signings that you always knew would never go through. It would be a very unrealistic prospect for a player to go from being paid Chelsea wages to being paid Blackpool wages. Can't say I'm particularly disappointed though.

The club puts out plenty of interview material with the players on it's YouTube channel.

    Only getting stronger?

It's possible that CJ is hesitant to use the full extent of his pace for fear of triggering a recurrence of his injury. I think that's a big part of why exciting, explosive players often don't quite seem to be the same when they come back from bad injuries.

    Rhys Williams…

Should start Thorniley from now on. He's always done a great job when called upon and I can't recall many instances where he's let us down.

The Over the line debate .

Here's a shot from a few frames earlier where the ball is even more concealed behind Grimshaw who is clearly led on the ground behind the line. It's nice to finally have a bit of luck.

The Over the line debate .

The ball is partially concealed by Grimshaw's leg in this image and it's clearly way over the line.
